Not top 75 though so of course they won't be """officially""" counted as second hits but at least they haven't ended up with only one top 100 hit to their name each! Oliver Heldens will end his one hit wonder status much more comfortably next week and Mr Probz may do so as well with his feature on the new Professor Green track. Fun. December 7, 201411 yr Surprised that Wham is getting streamed so much more than Wizzard (and ahead of the Pogues no less :o) and vice versa for the singles, I wouldn't have thought there'd be that much of a gap between them in either.I imagine it helps that Last Christmas is huge worldwide, as it's more likely to appear in global playlists and charts. (I would guess that's why Mariah does a lot better than The Pogues too)

December 7, 201411 yr Yeah I guess the drop for McBusted was only to be expected. Disappointed that 'Listen To The Man' didn't manage to go Top 40 this week, hopefully it will next week though.
December 7, 201411 yr A very interesting battle that was! Luckily Taylor Swift is its big loser, thank God she's not on streaming (even though she wouldn't have topped the chart even with streams). Union J's artificially boosted #2 is a big surprise but it will be funnier to look where they land next week (out of the Top 10 is a given, right?). I love big falls! Besides, the song is so simple and dumb that it deserves to plummet. From the new entries, Ella Henderson with her sleep-inducing boredom is definitely too high meanwhile the stunning new Ed Sheeran's song should have swapped places with her as it's easily his best effort this year (miles better than the actual #1 whiny single). Great entry from Blonde as well. A big no to all the Christmas songs though. :/
December 7, 201411 yr So Wizzard made the top 40 on sales and not Wham interesting. As was said streaming gives advantage to world wide hits through their playlists - wham and Mariah doing better and even look at Hozier!
