^ Madonna 'Rebel Heart' album preorder is up and five tracks are already available! :o

Has it been deleted as I can't find it? What a messy album campaign.

Yay, go Tom!

Is it me or are all the of the Christmas songs quite low on iTunes this year? To be fair, Mariah Carey is at #36 & #37 and The Pogues are #38, #71 & #78, but a few of them are actually looking to fall in the official charts this week.

#881

and it's already available to buy  I was hoping it'd get a held-back release, has so much chart potential!

OH NO! :(

Living For Love is available too, I managed to download it.
Apologies for being a dunce, but can anyone explain how the Madonna situation will work? When you preorder the album you get 6 songs as instant grats, so i'm guessing they will be chart ineligible, and that will count as a sale for the album.. But if you choose to download the songs separately will they be the ones that show up on the iTunes feed or will ones from the preorder show up too?

The iTunes feed shows both separate sales and the pre-order sales. The official chart only counts the separate sales, and pre-orders obviously go towards the album only. Hope that clears things up :kink:

I *think* they should be chart eligible because itunes now only report sales for the songs when they have actually been bought individually and not from pre-order purchases.

Basically if you want them to count to the official chart, just download the tracks individually rather than preordering the album and getting them that way. :D

Why messy Rob? She didn't have any choice with all the leaks, did she? I think this was the smartest thing to do.

I've only listened to the lead single, "Living For Love", thus far and I'm actually quite impressed. Reportedly produced to Diplo, it's certainly a lot more easy on the ears than the dire "Give Me All Your Luvin'". With only Taylor Swift looking to release charting singles in early 2015 (can't see Ariana Grande getting another T40 sadly just yet), Madonna could do very well with this album campaign; certainly compared to the last.

As someone posted in the Madonna forum, 'Living For Love' is quite Kiesza at times so hopefully it has appeal beyond Madonna fans too!

Don't have huge expectations for her big commercial return, but hoping for more than we got in the last era :P

'Living for Love' *should* do better than 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' based on it being much more relevant to today's music scene rather than being a dated cheese fest, but whether it *will* is a little less clear. I'd be happy with Top 20 for this - I recall that 'GMAYL' would have peaked at #21 had it not been ineligible for a week so there shouldn't really be reason why she can't debut that high with this. She just needs some bloomin' promotion this time round!!
