Wealdstone Raider is slowing again now, but perhaps just because people have been at work / school - if he can get back to the gains he was getting yesterday evening he could well hit #1 on iTunes!

This is the first I've heard of this Wealdstone Raider'?

Do you really need to make this post every single time you've not heard of someone?

Have you ever tried your best friend... as in google to do some research :P that's what I usually do when I'm clueless about an act

I have just found out what the Wealdstone Raider is. Utterly awful.

Ya want some? He'll give it ya.

I want some good music.

I do not understand why people are thinking "we're sick of Simon Cowell's crap music; we'll get a crap song into the charts as a protest!" It's poor logic, at best. As for the "it's for charity" argument, just give £1 to charity. That will raise more money than whatever cut of the profits this raises for charity, after iTunes takes a cut.

Eh, it's about time that we get a hit song which mentions both Pitbull and Gemma Collins in one verse.

Yeah I don't think anyone buying it is specifically aiming to get a 'crap song' to #1... It obviously isn't your thing but the original Wealdstone Raider video was apparently very popular and it's just a novelty record off the back of that, nothing more than a bit of fun (and if it's raising some money for charity as well then all the better).
Looking at the midweeks, those physical sales of Band Aid 30 really aren't increasing as we head towards Christmas as many thought. Oops!
Really can't stand the Wealdstone Raider thing. Building s song around some foulmouthed halfwit inclined to aggro and violence, however pathetic, isn't too 'funny' to me. Unless I'm missing something profound....

It worked for James Arthur.

I can't remember who posted but being iTunes #1 doesn't mean anything really. I mean Drown was #1 briefly and ended at #17. Even before streams the iTunes chart just gives an estimate of where it would chart :P

Can someone give me an example of a song that sounds a lot like that Got No Fans song so I don't have to dig out my headphones to listen to it and (possibly) end up wasting 2 minutes only to find out it's rubbish

Basically imagine the backing track of that Waze & Odyssey thing, but emulated by somebody who can't produce music properly and an old man with a lisp chanting over it.

If you can picture that, you're pretty much most of the way there.

Sounds a bit like Cheryl's previous No1 :P
