Holding on really well and should rise a place once that Wealdstone song falls. Will likely fall a bit once the gift card effect comes into play - although its streaming is picking up nicely so I am hopeful it'll stick around a while and go silver (200k+) at least.

This is going to go top 10 once the gift card effect begins isn't it? I hope it doesn't make it official as I want it to become the first million selling song not to go top 10 (Unless there is one I'm unaware of?)

hopefully the gift card effect starting midweek means any boost Idina does get means her iTunes peak for the week will be a bit higher than where she charts officially (don't want it going top 10 as 1) I hate the song and 2) it would be a great chart record if it sells a million without going top 10)

Kinda hoping it does go top 10 now TBH. Can't deal with it being the highest selling non-top 10 ~ (though of course it's still going to be the lowest peaking million seller either way (preferable to Snow Patrol TBF) and if it does go top 10 now it'll smash the record for taking the most weeks to peak so there's no avoiding it being a multiple record breaker by this stage. Boo).

Madonna headlined radio 1s concert in Maidstone when she released hard candy.

I'm sure this helped her get all the singles from the album playlisted!

 

Robbie and others have proven that u can have success without radio 1 ! Obviously we all know it helps :)

Living for Love is doing well so far and at least capital and radio 2 are playing it!

I'd really love 'Living For Love' to do a 'Candy' (i.e. #1 without Radio 1's backing), but that's a real tall order to expect.

 

The fact Capital look like being on board is encouraging, at this stage I'm hopeful it has a chance to at least do reasonably well!

I'm most pleased about 'Love Me Harder' from that lot, I'm watching its progress closely and desperately want it to get into the top 40 once Christmas/gift card dies down.

I'm pretty sure Ariana will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the gift card effect anyway, it could actually help 'Love Me Harder'. Not sure I see it going top 40 now though as it's been hanging around too long without breaking through already.

She should have released LMH with a jan impact date and just focused on Tell me Santa in December - it would have helped her album regardless! Hope it climbs after Xmas like some songs do - although it's off the radio 1 playlist (tho that hasn't effected Hozier much)

Roy Wood performed his Xmas hit at the end of Pointless special earlier so that explains the greening of the main version on Kworb

LMH should be able to reach 100k now was the milestone I was hoping it would sail past.

'Love Me Harder' should have been as big as 'Problem' (or more realistically 'Break Free'). It's the best single by a considerable distance for me so it's a shame to see it floundering in the lower regions of the chart for so long :(

It's her ONLY good song, and that is 88% down to the Weeknd.

It still seems surreal to me that 'Break Free' missed the top 10, it seemed like such a huge hit especially considering how many weeks it spent in the top 10. It's a great shame that her management messed the 'Break Free' release up.

Break Free is also her best song by a clear mile. I don't think Capital/Kiss supported it though did they? Which might be why it only peaked at 16?

'Break Free' is by far the worst of the 3 singles from this album, it seems a bit odd that it was even recorded/released when she's otherwise being pushed as an R&B act.

I think the main thing that really damaged it was being ineligible for weeks before finally being allowed to chart, that was when it was in the iTunes top 10. It's almost as if it had been and gone by the time it was allowed to chart, although it miraculously sustained a decent run.

One More Sleep #48! Hopefully it will have done enough this week to get one more week in the top 100.

 

Shame it wasn't in the 59p range this year,. There is obviously still some demand for it, would have probably done much better if they did that. Fingers crossed next year itunes discount it.
