"everyone's favourite Christmas song"

Jameela knows it *.* What Jameela says, goes ^_^

Oh deary, this dropped loads since Friday  Will probably be lucky to hang onto the top 100 next week now! Well at least we got a quirky chart run out of it.

I actually still think this is a very good version, shame people haven't taken to it more.

I'd like to think this didn't perform as well as expected on account of it not being remotely listenable.

Hopefully this will be the last time I ever hear it in my life.

Explain something to me - will future purchases of this song (i.e. in 2015) still have it's tax wavered and will all money from sales still go towards to Ebola cause?

Everyone had such high expectations of Band Aid 30. I actually really like the track, though as everyone is in agreement with the original cannot be beaten.

Poor Band Aid :( Really need to change the song and formula its getting a bit boring every 10-20 of the same kind of song and same lyrics :(
ASDA are not even knocking them out

I feel really sorry for Asda, I doubt they've shifted more than 20k of the physical in total and they bought 250k of them, such a chronic waste of money.

I do wonder if we'll EVER hear of Band Aid 30 again after this week  (not even on those 'all the Christmas number 1s' shows seeing as it wasn't!)

Biography

Rather than the usual bombast or snooze-inducing "relaxation music," the U.K. six-piece known as Clean Bandit mash classical music and pop forms for an airy and dreamy yet driven sound that's like the chamber music version of house music. The core four-piece of the group were known as the Chatto Quartet, a classically trained string quartet that performed J.S. Bach and cited Jacqueline du Pré as an influence, but their post-show, wind-down music often consisted of garage, two-step, Craig David, and Arcade Fire tracks. The quartet members were aware of both producer Jon Wandeck and MC Ssegamic through the duo's work in photography, and when Wandeck suggested they play on one of his house music cuts, Clean Bandit were born. With MC Ssegamic on the mike, they released the classical-meets-house-meets-hip-hop-meets-heartbreak song "Telephone Banking" in the summer of 2011. Their Dance Armstrong mixtape followed in 2012, while 2013 saw the release of their Mozart's House EP. - iTunes

Oh, Jameela. I'm going to miss her so much in a month from now. :(
Not expecting the new host to be as funny though.
Oh I've messed up the positions of Band Aid 30, but no one realised :o :heehee:

Ridiculous decision in the first place. Licking their financial wounds now no doubt... (unlikely)

Note to the next Band Aid thingy: write a friggin' new song!
