December 28, 201411 yr Ouch at Band Aid down to 40. It will be interesting to see if Bob will re-do it again for a 40th anniversary in 10 years time. The sensible thing to do would be to wait for the next humanitarian crisis and write a completely new song.
December 28, 201411 yr I expected a bit more than 3 re-entries but I suppose a lot of this years biggest hits were still in the top 40 last week! Band Aid 30 hanging on by the skin of its teeth, won't be top 100 next week most likely.

December 28, 201411 yr Really surprised at how low Band Aid 30 are... they actually held up fairly well on iTunes even after the gift card effect kicked in. I wouldn't be surprised if its sales have actually increased from last week anyway.
