So ready for this! Really hope it's a big, pop smash for her. I really want her to be big again and I believe it's only a matter of time until she is for some reason.

I DON'T THINK SHE CAN HANDLE GETTING ANY BIGGER :kink:

Jokes aside. I'm excited!

Genuinely expected a weight "joke", in regards to what I said.

Try harder, HATER! :drama:

:kink:

The thing about Kelly is that she really doesn't CARE what weight she is.

No doubt the label will be telling her to hit the treadmill.

Can't wait! I loved her last album and hope the new one is just as good! Hopefully she'll be able to score a top 5 hit with the lead single and she'll come over to the UK to promote! :D

I hope not! Kelly is lovely

Nowhere does it say a popstar HAS to be thin/fit. Look at Adele (tired example, I know). I hate the expectation that you need to be a certain size as a popstar. Be healthy, be happy, that's FAR more important a FAR better example in my opinion. People don't need another shallow, weight obsessed influence in their lives.

Yeah, I really admire her attitude. She just suits herself, fights for what she wants as a popstar and is thoroughly lovely, down-to-earth and hilarious in the process.

Looking forward to new music. She never fails to bring at least one tune per era.

Well, what I hate is the misconception some people are under that overweight equals healthy and happy. That is not usually the case (though in this case I guess it is, I mean she just had a baby). I liked Kelly more during AIEW and Stronger when she had a fuller figure than during Breakaway, but she's a bit too full at the moment, imo.

How is she not healthy and happy? She's not morbidly obese  Just because a lot of artists use sex and their bodies to sell their music, doesn't mean Kelly should lose any weight. If she was working the tills in Asda, nobody would bat an eyelid, so why should she have to lose weight just because she's a popstar? Hasn't done her any harm this far. Plus baby weight isn't always easy to shift...
She should care. She's a popstar.

That's a ridiculous thing to say and pretty shallow minded. If she was obese I would perhaps agree to a point but only from the perspective of her own well being. Unfortunately, the music world has become more obsessed with image rather than style and substance. This has partially been driven about through exposure from reality TV shows and the media. However, its not always been like that and in the 1980s pop stars were allowed to dress and look more how they like and had a greater degree of originality.

Oh of course, but that's just as much of a misconception as being thin equating to happiness, a better life and whatever other nonsense people automatically assume comes with it. Fair enough it may equal being more healthy, but being on the lower end of the average is not really any more detrimental than being on the upper end of average. An extreme either way is dangerous and not a good example to be setting, basically. Either way I think Kelly IS genuinely and probably not any more unhealthy than most people.

Regardless of what weight she is, I just hope she comes over here to promote this album.

It's hard to believe that her last big hit (Stronger) was 3 years ago but I guess that's because she's been keeping busy with other stuff.

Still, judging by what's been said about this single, she's gonna come back strong.

She's always been that artist who didn't make it to Gaga-esque levels but sold consistently well and praised by critics.

It's a bit like when she's around people love her but when she's not on the scene, they just forget about her..

It works well for her because there's no overkill and if this song's good enough, people will listen, remember who she is and love her again.. I hope

I have full faith in her to bring it musically, I'm expecting a more stripped back feel to the album in general, but I know that won't be the case for the single. Basically combining what she knows works to pay the bills for singles with what she loves as album tracks.
