:ne: 978. Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP - Sugar Man

Uptown Funk set to be sugar-SMASHED later today *.*

Is this a version of the Rodriguez/David Holmes song?

Edit: Yes it is, and it's crap.

I'd love them to chart just to see the Chart Show Thread's reaction

I love it how you copy Eric_blob's posts from the past

Are you sure, you're not relatives? :P

Don't think it's been posted yet but Jay Z and Linkin Park's Numb/Encore is at 36.

Jonjo will also like the fact that Blink 182 are 60 with 'I Miss You'

Presumably 59p boosts.

I'd think the Blink 182 track will be due to the news regarding them earlier...

IMY is my favourite blink track, so any boost for that (for whatever reason) is more than welcome *.*

Oh right... well it's good to see it return that high nevertheless.

The news might be helping but 'I Miss You' is indeed 59p :P

59p tracks top 100:

60. I Miss You - Blink-182

72. Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac

77. Spectrum (Say My Name) [Calvin Harris Remix] - Florence + The Machine

83. All Summer Long - Kid Rock

89. My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up) - Fall Out Boy

95. Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra) - Gotye

99. Run - Snow Patrol

 for 'Numb / Encore', 'I Miss You', 'Go Your Own Way', 'Spectrum', 'Somebody That I Used To Know' and 'Run'. Not so much for 'All Summer Long' :puke:

Some high tracks for 59p

Does anyone know the highest position (iT or main chart) a song has been 59p at? Perhaps a #1 was 59p at one time

59p tracks top 100:

16. Cool Kids - Echosmith hopefully will boost this to the top 15 :cheer:

26. Real Love - Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne :D

45. Solo Dancing - Indiana Desperate attempt to keep it top 100 this week

56. Under the Shadows - Rae Morris Can't see it getting top 40 but it's decent so hope it sticks around a little more

60. I Miss You - Blink-182 Great track :D

77. Spectrum (Say My Name) [Calvin Harris Remix] - Florence + The Machine Love this remix  :music:

95. Somebody That I Used to Know (feat. Kimbra) - Gotye Great track :D

Yes, David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

 I'm almost 100% sure I'm not related to anybody on here!

Its pretty weird that my posts are exactly the same as another poster's though, must be a coincidence.

I must admit I assumed that ML Dangerous was simply a new name for Eric Blob.
Yes, David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium

Thanks! :D

Wow, such a great track to be 59p! :o

If only we could find out if it was still #1 if it wasn't 59p

I guess the only way to guess is to look at the sales differences...

The fact that is sold over 1.2 million suggests it might have deserved to hit #1 at some point. A figure that only about 40 songs have reached since the start of the millennium.

I'm pretty sure Coldplay's Paradise got to Number 1 whilst it was 59p too.

Oh I'm sure it would reach #1 anyway :D

Just 'cause, I'll look to see if there's a thread for that year...

#1

04 Feb 76,109 Cover Drive Twilight

11 Feb 85,985 David Guetta feat. Sia Titanium

18 Feb 83,265 Gotye feat. Kimbra Somebody That I Used To Know

#2

04 Feb 66,043 David Guetta feat. Sia Titanium

11 Feb 76,758 Alyssa Reid feat. Jump Smokers Alone Again

18 Feb 81,142 David Guetta feat. Sia Titanium

Alyssa was approx. 9k behind Guetta that week, so who knows, perhaps 9k people wouldn't pay for it if it was 99p!

Poor though since the powerful Gotye 1HW stopped him from spending over a week there :nocheer:

And possibly Flo Rida's Good Feeling? Not at all certain on that though.

Not that I was extensively into iTunes back then but somewhere in my mind they ring a bell

58. Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband

I was expecting this after the album release. I always saw it in the right pane when watching Bass or Lips on YT, it also has the most views for Trainer without being an MV. And a heads up, it sounds nothing like Bass or Lips :drama: it's not too bad...

And I might have seen it as a A/B side of Bass/Lips or something. Still meaning to read up on what a A/B side is

23. Selena Gomez - The Hearts Wants What It Wants [starting to fall fast now]

32. Oliver Heldens Feat K Stewart - Last All Night (Koala)

41. Esmee Denters - Outta Here

44. Indiana - Solo Dancing [59p effect :o]

55. Blink 182 - I Miss You

58. Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband

Ouch at Shawn Mendes, was convinced he would make the top 15 by Sunday, but they've really screwed up the release and now I fear it won't even make the top 75
