Wtf. Sorry but what a waste of all that hype  BOBBY f***ING BEALE
I knew it!!! Was hoping it would have been Denise though. She was totally giving me 'You need slappin dahhhn' vibes
Feel really cheated. It could have been Denise accidentally after that fight they had, it could have been Ben or Jay after what happened, it could have been Abi, but oh no, Bobby was a more suitable option. :manson:
That really is so disappointing. All the clues and drama from the past 10 months just feel wasted. Can this just be a dream please?
The next question, what Bobby Beale was it? The blonde mute, the small eye'd mullet, or the bucktoothed bowl cut? That is the question
I don't think it was disappointing at all actually! Ian's own SON did it, someone he'd never expect and it's bound to send shockwaves through the family. I think it could really develop in an interesting way!

So Jane moved the body to the woods, took Bobby and went back up North after that.

Richard Blackwood's character goes back to that episode, so something is going to come out of that.

LOL I srsly didn't think it would actually be the kid that did it WHAT :o that's ridiculous even for Eastenders! It's like Maggie Simpson shooting Mr Burns  Was near certain in the last moments when it was obvious it wasn't Jane, it would be Cindy.

I don't remember a time I was SO fixated on the TV lol

I knew as soon as Lucy mentioned a mother's love.

A mother's love made Jane cover up for Bobby!

I suppose the aftermath will be good - it bloody better be! - but I still think it's really disappointing. Just makes a mockery of the whole storyline really. Sigh. :(

Like I say, hopefully the aftermath will be good and make up for it! On a different note, I did like gun in the flowers scene with Vincent and Ronnie, making a nod to Den's first death.

I find it quite funny that scenes before and shortly after Lucy's death show Bobby looking completely different to what he looks like in the flashback. It does explain some things:

Why Jane was quick to remove Bobby for several months.

Possibly why Jane was willing to become Ian's wife again-guilt that her family fell apart without her.

Why Emma insisted it was STILL murder.

It does not explain the following:

How Emma worked out how it happened.

Also I do not believe Emma would have been phoning Bobby about her suspicions-she must have initially thought it was Jane and accused her then met with her to discover it was actually Bobby.

Watch Jane take the blame for the next 10 months before everyone finally finds out it was Bobby.
I like to know how things are going to unfold after that and where its heading.

I know it's more impactful to be a member of his own family, but it just feels like a total colossal let down that there's been 10 months of twists and turns, all those people who had grievances with Lucy but it just ends up being that Bobby was a bit of a little shit.

I had a gut feeling it could be Bobby when it was said that the culprit "wasn't necessarily" on the suspect list but I still really thought Cindy was more likely to have killed her and Jane panicked and covered it up. It just seems a total let down for the iconic 30th anniversary storyline to be pinned on BOBBY BEALE.

I guess it depends how it develops now, could be interesting with how they handle it and whether Bobby actually realises what he's done or is he a complete psycho  Perhaps this storyline is more to do with how it develops than the actual reveal.
