Poor Hannah Wants. She's fallen to #10 on iTunes which means her place in the top 10 this Sunday looks threatened. I really hope she makes it

Sadly I think streaming will push her out if the top 10, I think she'll still get a top 15 but I've got everything crossed that she can make it as the tracks really grown on me

Would have loved to see Alle Farben in the top 40 its another track Ive grown to love over the last few days

I fear more for Rihanna. At least "Rhymes" is available to stream whereas "FourFiveSeconds" isn't

where's Elastic Heart?

looks like one old track will drop out in favour of another Steve Harley in favour for Jay Z and Linkin Park on Sunday. Numb/Encore getting a big boost from a 59p reduction. Currently #20 on iTunes.

'Rhymes' is not even comfortably top 10 on iTunes (I'm quite surprised it's remained there this long) so there's no chance of it making the overall top 10, best case scenario is probably top 15 and scraping the top 10 on sales. Glad to see it as high as #9 for the Wednesday update anyway.

Meghan Trainor has actually extended her lead at #1 on the albums today so it's beginning to look like she will safely get a #1! Probably on <30k but you can hardly expect #1 album sales to be massive outside of the run up to Christmas, it could be far worse.

Selena's album looking likely to miss the top 40 oop, not a great showing after four straight top 15 albums but I'm sure she'll be back up there with her next studio album. 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' should hopefully stay top 30 at least which I suppose isn't AWFUL for a song without Capital or Radio 1 support. It's been a pretty huge hit for her in the USA though so a bit disappointing it isn't doing better here.

Rhymes is rubbish. THankfully, it will likely leave quickly, and not hang around like a fart in a lift like the even more awful Prayer In C.

One thing I've noticed Mark Ronson sales are literally down to 11.5k for yesterday, he is not exactly selling the amount of 15k+ as previous weeks per day, I reckon he still might manage over 100k for the week with streams. At a guess probably around 107k to 110k for the week. Just seems UF sales are starting to decrease a fair bit.

I think DJ Fresh/Ella or Charli/Rita might just get a week, before Ellie releases.

Not fast enough!

Not fast enough!

He'll probably manage just under 90,000 on sales alone

Glad to see the Lips track falling (2 to 6) :D not that I hate it (or pretty much any track :drama:) but it's too overrated imo and sounds too much like Bass

Not too :drama: for The Nights slipping to #11  perhaps it'll re-enter the top 10? and quite a slip for Heroes, although it did well holding up in the 6-10 region

Selena's new track isn't bad :) but I'm not how sure it'll stay in the top 20. If only she was as good at streams as Ariana

And, just like I predicted :kink: the old Ben is doing what James Arthur did a few years ago, which is to stay high-ish and then fall rather quickly. Well it's X Factor, what did you expect?

I wonder if Cool Kids will turn out similar success as Best Day Of My Life? Similar slightly to it, and peaking at #17  but sticking around for a while. Who knows?

I hope Sugar doesn't do better than Animals. Though both are fairly weak tracks, Animals isn't as weak

And I did a little dance when I saw the number of stale tracks falling/dropping out :cheer:

I don't know what the hell you are on about, its not exactly answering my post. I wasn't talking about dropouts from last week.

I agree  I think the most confusing part was the choice to quote your post

Rhymes is rubbish. THankfully, it will likely leave quickly, and not hang around like a fart in a lift like the even more awful Prayer In C.

It's quite mediocre yes I agree  and I'd think it performing like Prayer In C is a very little bit ambitious :kink:

Perhaps they would have had a better shot at #1 if they didn't damn put the price sky high <_< *tries to think of new nickname* Charli £££?

The price has since been lowered to £1.18 with a 99p version added as well, clearly the record label have been reading the iTunes thread.

I checked and seen that on the iT thread :D but I'm a bit of a noob with the pricing/different versions. If there's two versions, one £1.18 and one 99p won't the £1 one drop out if people choose the 99p one (most likely)? Or is it something with pre-orders or something keeping it there? If they pre-order it while its £1.18?

I don't know if top 5 is good for Riri & co... it'll be her lowest peaking lead single ever if it doesn't climb but it will climb if there's a video at some point.

Its not a proper Rihanna lead single anyway and its not very good so hope it doesn't do that well.

No video, no streaming, not held back, it is actually refreshing to see a song just released in the UK and left to do what it does.

I agree. I'm quite mixed on the new entries this week.

Sam Smith falling a combined 25 places!!! Certainly will be less than half that come Sunday when the new entries fall down...
I just tried to listen to Four Five Seconds. I made it to 30 seconds.

Yes I noticed a few Ed/Sam/Ezra were falling :cheer:

I don't know about less than half though  :please:

 genius :D

It's not a great start I agree. Though lead singles don't always represent the album or even be the best or most successful track, we'll just have to hope and see what 2015 will bring
