It really is very poor that the lead single from Rihanna's new album is looking to do something around 40-45k in it's first week (okay, 6 days but still). You would really be expecting 100k+, it just goes to show that people really aren't feeling it as a new move and it is a very silly choice of single to lead your 8th album off of.

 

I'm very sure she'll get a huge hit later on with second single..but the fact that FourFiveSeconds made the album is not very promising. To me, she has never been an album artist though

Steve Harley is down to 48, and Linkin Park & Jay Z are #58, not sure if the latter will break into the 40 come Sunday, it seems far off.

 

Numb could possibly be the very first top 20 sales entry not to be top 40 overall if it continues where or around it currently is on itunes. :o

The biggest streaming days are Friday and Saturday, yes.

Sales also peak at the weekend. I feel people forget this sometimes when talking about streaming peaking at the weekend.

 

'Hold Back The River' looks pretty likely to reach a new peak this week :o It's still lagging a bit on streaming though compared to other songs around the same position which surprises me as I thought James Bay was exactly the sort of artist who'd dominate Spotify et al.

I agree. All Of Me doesn't really bother me, but willl Sing ever have the decency to not come back to the top 40 when it's out on Wednesday?
