Woo Go On James Bay getting that re-peak why did this re-enter the chart anyway though...Anyway good song to re-enter/peak :cheer:
nice to see this nabbing a new peak ~ James Bay is a really good singer so it is nice to see him gaining some popularity!

"Cool Kids" is a nice song.

"All About The Bass" is quite funny.

What's wrong with the message? I don't think they're actually saying that cool kids are better, but more the lyrics are from the perspective of outsiders who want to be seen like that, it's a common thing amongst a lot of teenagers that age (they'd know as most of Echosmith are still at school age!)

I don't like how it shows that perspective and doesn't have anything in it to imply that that shouldn't be the case. It's implicit that it's bad to not be 'cool'.

Anyone in the UK planning to watch Superbowl XLIX

Yeah, I plan to :D. Nice to see you posting again!

Hmmm after originally writing this off as typical male singer-songwriter garbage it does actually have a bit of substance to it.

Not a bad track at all, but I still don't particularly like the tone of his voice...

Biography

Although the first solo single from soul-inspired, London-born artist Sam Smith was issued in early 2013, it was his soaring vocal contribution to Disclosure's October 2012 U.K. garage track "Latch" which brought him to most people's attention. For most of his teens, Smith balanced study with music, soaking in the raw and passionate approach to performance exemplified by his favorite artists at that time such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan. "Latch" hit the upper reaches of the U.K. singles chart when Smith was 21, and many were surprised when his debut solo track took a more tempered path. The production on February 2013's "Lay Me Down" — also courtesy of the ordinarily dancefloor-focused duo Disclosure — recalled the stripped-back material that had proved successful for Adele in the preceding years. Next, Shahid Khan — aka Naughty Boy — decided to follow his Emeli Sandé-fronted U.K. Top Ten hit "Wonder" with the infectious, Bollywood sample-driven "La La La." Featuring Smith's powerful lead vocal, it became an instant May 2013 U.K. number one single following his spring tour in support of Sandé. - iTunes

Album Discussion Here

Ahh! Not heard the original actually.

Especially for you

If anyone follows Billboard this has had a remarkably similar run to Ed Sheeran's Sing on there (bar the 2 weeks top ten).
Like I Can is one of my favourite songs. There's been very few bad songs so far (though there are, unfortunately, a few coming up)
Definitely one of my favorites of his album! Really thought this could be even bigger but at least he got a pretty big hit for single #4!

I don't mind the track but I don't understand the hype...just doesn't interest me at all

Amazing chart run for "Like I Can".
