Ya'll need to lighten up. I actually thought it was quite funny poking fun at the re-occurring chart thread talk, buzzwords and trends that we all use. James is right, this can be a scary thread.

Back to the serious stuff..

King is still number 1.

88. Skrillex & Diplo - Where Are Ü Now (feat. Justin Bieber)

I cant believe Justin Bieber is 21 now, wow time flies!

lol wtf

653. Sean Paul - Get Busy

Heard this at the gym today - iconic song

The lack of a sense of humour in here is quite saddening :(

I'm sure everyone here does have a sense of humour, just this isn't considered funny by some.

'Get Busy' and 'Like Glue' are absolute JAMS.

'Get Busy' The epitome of a JAM, I go crazy at parties when that comes on. That is the Sean Paul that can smash, although I'm sure he'll be back this year with a random hit as per couple of years. :P

Though I do enjoy a good joke now and then I partly agree with those complaining about the whole Jultra thing. From a non-humourous point of few it can look confusing and distressing, and I also think it would have done better on April 1 oops  (at least then people would be expecting it :D)

Still it was fun while it lasted

yeah now's probably a good time to stop the Jultra spamming. It was funny last night but no-one likes a long running joke that only few people get. (don't stop posting in the Jultra lounge thread though!!!)

Amazing to see King slaying so hard right now, Ellie is now down to 0.5722 on Kworb! (and this is combining both versions too!) Should easily pass 100k

Yeah I also agree to stop the Jultra part in the iTunes thread (but not in the longue) because long running jokes can get bad

And am I still like the only person who doesn't get why king is doing so well?

Yes

It features great vocals and production, spin those together and you get a hit

I prefer Desire over it. This doesn't even sound like a #1 hit imo :( given it many listens and still does nothing for me :(

actually it's good but I don't think it's that amazing to be #1 or anything! Oh well kudos to them they are very promising though so hopefully something better comes out after.

I love all of Sean Paul's big hits, especially Get Busy and Temperature. He made much better music when he had conrows though

He's left his label now, so I doubt he'd get another chart hit :(

I don't think he needs one though, he's already a legend!

Do you think they helped him write better songs? anyway you've inspired me to revisit his old hits, got them on now :D

Most of Sean Paul's discography is great for working out to!

King had such a big lead. :o Probably will be another song that stays at #1 for weeks, unless there's another huge release coming soon? All I can think of is Bloodstream, which I think could get to #1 seeing as the original is already top 40 and there's still a while to go.

My love for "Higher" diminished somewhat when Sigma told Zane Lowe that the track wasn't even recorded together. Sigma made the beat (i.e. used the same one from "Changing") and sent it over to Labrinth; pretty poor given both artists are based in the UK (London specifically surely?)

I think this sort of thing is very common to be honest.

I saw people comparing Sigma to Duke Dumont, and I agree that Higher is probably going to miss #1. However in this case I think Higher is weaker than the two #1s, so I don't mind so much. In Duke Dumont's case it was a bit sad since Won't Look Back is such a good song, and better than I Got U imo.

No, it just looks stupid an immature for all involved.

The nearest (new) contender looks like Jess Glynne on March 22! I figured GDFR could challenge for the itunes #1, but it'll likely settle for 'just' a top 5 place officially

You reckon GDFR will be #1 on iTunes? I can see it being at #5 or #6 on iTunes and at #6 or #7 on the overall official chart.

We Be Burnin is his best song imo.
