Do you think they helped him write better songs? anyway you've inspired me to revisit his old hits, got them on now :D

Definitely! He just doesn't look right with that mohawk - he's almost the Samson of music

I saw people comparing Sigma to Duke Dumont, and I agree that Higher is probably going to miss #1. However in this case I think Higher is weaker than the two #1s, so I don't mind so much. In Duke Dumont's case it was a bit sad since Won't Look Back is such a good song, and better than I Got U imo.

Agree, Won't Look Back is a perfect late Summer song imo and better than I Got U. The fact it missed #1 was a sign of that the house domination of the chart was past its peak.

447. Conor Maynard - Talking About

Not doing brilliantly at the moment :( hope it can really pick up, a very solid return.

It should pick up once airplay kicks in, I'm sure Capital and Radio 1 will be on board soon.

Won't Look Back missing #1 was probably more a sign of it being pretty terrible, especially in comparison to Duke's first two singles.
Won't Look Back was AWFUL and rightfully flopped. I Got U was good for getting people excited for Summer.

Oh yeah and this. A rare agreement between myself and Joseph.

The nearest (new) contender looks like Jess Glynne on March 22! I figured GDFR could challenge for the itunes #1, but it'll likely settle for 'just' a top 5 place officially

I listened to the new Jess Glynne songs a few times, and it doesn't seem like a song that would go #1 to me, but we'll see. It's not terrible, but I don't really like it that much, I was thinking it'd not do as well as Right Here or Real Love, but then again I haven't looked at its pre-orders yet so who knows.

I never really know what to expect from a Flo Rida song in terms of the charts. The songs I thought might go #1 (Whistle, I Cry) didn't make it, then he has other songs like Good Feeling and Club Can't Handle Me which managed to surprise me and go #1 (for different reasons though that I won't go into as it'll take too long). And his biggest/signature hit, Low, never even made #1.

You reckon GDFR will be #1 on iTunes? I can see it being at #5 or #6 on iTunes and at #6 or #7 on the overall official chart.

I'll admit it seems a tad less likely than I originally thought, but if Marlon Roudette can get close to #3 with less airplay then I see GDFR reaching a #2/3 iTunes peak at least!

Any Brownstone effect? One of the original line-up has passed away :(

Glad, Years & Years are number 1, great song!

This wasn't in the top 1500 when I searched for it earlier today. Surely this wont be number 1?

lol, there's no chance of it going to #1. It'll probably go top 20 like his other recent hits

I wish  It does sound big, but Bizzle's far from the best rapper wouldn't you agree?

What I Did For Love just got out back up to 99p again. I expect it to fall pretty fast, even though airplay has picked up dramatically. There is a new advertised 59p batch on iTunes:

Charli Xcx - Doing It

Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home

Katy Perry - Dark Horse

Catfish and the Bottlemen - Kathleen

Rihanna - Diamonds

Chvrches - The Mother We Share

Alanis - Ironic

Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone

Kylie - Wow

All amongst the batch.
