Plenty of releases this week, but it's looking as if only two (Flo Rida and Usher) will make it there officially for sure. Promising start for Stormzy given it didn't even have pre-orders (I believe), and The Vaccines' pre-orders are for a two-track single, so the #155 isn't representative.

 

Take That and Ella Henderson to both miss the T100 officially? Eeek!

Also not happy at Eric Prydz vs Chvrches has released early. Was hoping 'Tether' would get radio support and become a hit.

He won't. Years & Years still have a big lead on kworb, and have a streaming advantage (I imagine Flo Rida will catch up soon on spotify as it's doing very well worldwide, but yeah, it won't be #1)

The Avener track is actually growing on me, shame its not going to do any thing inside the 40.

 

As for Flo Rida I still can't figure how its so high, its so bad, hope the track will prevail from touching the #1 slot, as I still have doubts about Y&Ys download sales dropping quite a bit next week prays that stream sales will keep it up, as I don't think it managed over 100k for the week.

Fingers crossed Years & Years can hold off Flo Rida and the bore-fest Comic Relief single for a second week at the top~

Ella's career hasn't fizzled out at all? Mirror Man isn't doing great because it's the 4th single from a big selling album. Let's not forget Yours was given a leg up by X Factor.

4th singles don't all go top 10 like they used to in the good old days. Times have changed so Ella isn't doing 'disastrously' although the single isn't doing that well either.

 

If the first single from her next album performs this way, then it's time to worry.

Ella's career is stronger than ever, her debut single 'Ghost' is now a big hit in the US so she is promoting over there so her current priority is promoting in the US...i doubt she will be dropped anytime soon especially after her album sold well worldwide...

Lighthouse is the only good release this week so it would be a shame for it to miss the top 40 entirely :( That said it's not as good as UH which sounded like a glorified smash!

 

Looks likely also that Kelly could sneak a 3rd week top 10 if Flo & Usher are the only new entries up there :o

When people move on to 3rd/4th/5th singles I don't think top 10s are expected, I think album sales are what are important. Ella's album is still easily in the top 40. Job done.
