Star To Fall was the ripoff version of Sunset Strippers?

"Cabin Crew originally remixed the track, but SonyBMG would not clear the sample for release.[citation needed] Instead, they enlisted Sunset Strippers to remix the track to try to block the Cabin Crew version. However, when Boy Meets Girl's vocalist George Merrill heard the track, he re-recorded the vocals, allowing the Cabin Crew's version to be released." ta wikipedia :kink:

I prefer Sunset Strippers' version!

Biography

Fergie Duhamel (born Stacy Ann Ferguson; March 27, 1975) is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer, television host, and actress. She is the female vocalist for the hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas, with whom she has achieved chart success worldwide. Her debut solo album, The Dutchess (2006), spawned five Billboard Hot 100 top five singles, three of which went to number one.

Ferguson was a member of the children's television series Kids Incorporated and the girl group Wild Orchid. In 2001, she left the group and in the subsequent year began to team up with The Black Eyed Peas. With The Black Eyed Peas, she enjoyed a series of hits and albums before she released her solo debut album in September 2006 to success. The Black Eyed Peas enjoyed further success with the release of their third album with Ferguson, The E.N.D. (2009); they attained their first string of Billboard Hot 100 number one songs. She began touring in 2009/2010 with her group and she launched her debut fragrance, Outspoken, under Avon in May 2010 and has since released three more fragrances.

She continued success with The Black Eyed Peas and they released the album The Beginning (2010), which featured three singles, including two number one songs. As Ferguson's five solo singles and six singles with The Black Eyed Peas have reached two million downloads in the United States, Ferguson was the artist with the most two-million sellers by the beginning of 2011. - Wikipedia

Thanks for that. :)

I think Clara has only done 3 shows since taken over from Jameela :(

Interestingly 5 shows.

This has done pretty poorly, but I'm glad it's getting one more play on the chart show.
Well L.A. Love (La La) dropped fast, didn't it? Justice For Say Something!
Hello everyone

Scott Mills sitting in for Clara

He will extend his record today as the presenter that has done at least 1 chart show per year the most years, presented at least 1 show every year since his first in October 1999.

Today's chart presenter on R1: Scott Mills

Nostalgic for Fergie's old style chart run.

This 'last week's top 3' business really is the worst feature. As if we need to hear 3 of the mostly overplayed songs yet again. Doesn't help that it's been the same songs kicking off the show for a month now.
I guess we get Ellie again played in full, it was just played on Phil Taggert show.

Playing last week's top 3 is nice and all, but we (for the most part) already know last week's top 3 and want to get this week's top 40 started!

Anyway, Uptown Funk is brilliant!

Really hoping 'All Day' has somehow held onto the top 20 though I'm expecting more like a #22-4 debut as it did drop back a lot by the end of the week as I thought. It will safely outpeak 'Only One' though :D (hope I didn't jinx it there).
