"Lay Me Down" part 2 tbh

Same position, same meltdowns across Buzzjack?

No as bloodstream is actually really good (watch me backtrack that comment in a month when overplay is in overflow) and lay me down is torture :)

Has the new Brandon Flowers song been released to UK iTunes? It's on the new release schedule for release today.

I believe it's out tomorrow.

I heard it played on Annie Mac earlier but it wasn't hottest record or anything which is bad news for possible daytime support - it was played alongside Blurs current single which has no chance of daytime plays either unfortunately :(

Surely with Bloodstream already making the top 40 under the Rudimental/ Ed Sheeran billing on the top 40 it will be classed as the same song as the only song it's generating sales from is the standard Ed Sheeran solo version

I think the two will be merged, but with only Ed credited on the chart.

It's strange considering the CR single wasn't but we've discussed that plenty on here now.

but Bloodstream is already charting under both Ed and Rudimental's names - it at 26 with both being credited

 424. Luke Friend // Hole in My Heart (pre-order)

Climbed about 300 places today... in fact about 600 since the weekend!

Woah what's caused such a huge rise :o

On itunes yes, but not on the OCC.

Ah ok - I was looking on the BBC top 40 site, not on the OCC one :D

It's got them both listed on there - I shall stand down from my comments B-)

Luke's climb seems really quite random but it's absolutely welcomed! Hopefully looking good for top 40 at least, that's all I want from it.

An additional 15 people downloaded it.

Seriously the sales gap between 400 and 600 on a rolling chart isn't really that much (particularly with download sales ~11% down on 2014, which in itself was around ~12% down on 2013).

Still impressive for it to have climbed so much after being barely top 1500 less than a week ago, with no more support than it had last week! (ie. none)

I'm free to quote you on this.

It's probably just Luke getting more of his twitter followers to pre-order it or something~ While that won't make too much difference there's still a good chance he'll be in the top 40 next week imo

He's been doing that for weeks though! :o I know he supported the Janoskians the other night, and the song has been played before the X Factor live tour show starts, but neither of them explain the huge boost today, it was in the 900s earlier!
