Posted April 6, 201510 yr ngmqRQA8eGU Currently #1 in US iTunes and various countries around the world. However the track is album-only in the UK. Absolute sure-fire #1 if it were to be released in the UK this week. Anyway, I think it's a great song and when watched in the context of the film it's magnificent.
April 7, 201510 yr Why its still album only I don't know! Its frustrating. A great song and really fits the scene its used in, so well. I hope they release it on Sunday or something.
April 7, 201510 yr It annoys we as well that we can't purchase the song individually. The reason the album is #1 on iTunes is because people are buying it just for the song. At least you can purchase "Get Low" individually which is another brilliant tune from the film.
April 8, 201510 yr What a beautiful song and absolutely fits the scene perfectly  Wish this was on release now :(
April 8, 201510 yr This is so overrated. Not a fan of the film series so that could perhaps play a part but I loved We Own It as a song in its own right which I'm not doing with this...
April 8, 201510 yr Author This is so overrated. Not a fan of the film series so that could perhaps play a part but I loved We Own It as a song in its own right which I'm not doing with this... I don't think it's a great song - I mean it's just your standard rapper with a catchy hook, but the meaning is beautiful. Even though it's a Paul Walker tribute, I think with the meaning of the song you can relate it to somebody you've lost. Also, while the video shows the final scene, I don't think it harbors the impact it has in the film. The beginning piano bit where 'It's never goodbye' is touching but then when the song hits the finale, and the montage hits - that's the powerful moment.. it's certainly what got me shedding a tear!
April 8, 201510 yr Added to the C-List on Radio 1's playlist! I have a feeling they will end up making this available on iTunes quite soon.
April 11, 201510 yr I do hope the label takes this off album only soon. It will surely happen in the next couple of weeks? If its out this week it will be up against Omi though I think Wiz would actually win anyway
April 11, 201510 yr Debuts at #1 in Australia. #1 on UK Spotify with >287K daily streams. If you take the full top 100 into account, it's a jump from #59, which is the first time something has ever jumped from below #50 to #1 :o
April 12, 201510 yr My god this is just so dull :/ I know it's meant to be enjoyed with the meaning and obviously Paul's death was sad, but I've never seen any of the films and don't have that connection with the meaning I'm afraid. Still a better #1 than Cheerleader though which I'm really being to hate. (god I'm a heartless beast sometimes!!)
April 12, 201510 yr I agree it's a pretty unexceptional track outside of its context, and it sounds like it should've been a hit at least four or five years ago and the fact that it's a #1 contender in 2015 is kind of jarring. But I'm also one of those chumps who fall prey to the sentiment of a song so it's been kind of hard for me to resist this, even without having seen a single film in the series.

It's just overtaken Cheerleadeer on iTunes so there's a chance it could be number 1 on Sunday.
April 12, 201510 yr I think Wiz has got a good chance at #1 now, not forgetting sales on itunes have been pretty low the past week, Wiz can easily clear that deficit.
April 12, 201510 yr Never seen a movie in the series but as a song I think it's pretty great! Rapper with a catchy hook always seems to work as a formula for me (see Airplanes, Read All About It etc.) :P
