• will probably make top 40 on streams alone tonight, with it being the #1 streamed song in the UK (spotify) at the moment

• debuted at #1 in Australia and will probably get #1 in more countries soon

• has over 24 million YouTube views and was only uploaded a week ago

• taken from Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack which was #1 on the iTunes album chart

I'm definitely backing Cheerleader, one of my favourite songs of the year and I think it will make it, probably to be overtaken by Wiz next week but at least it'll peak at #1

Tbh I don't rate either of the top horses this week and as a song I prefer Omi. But I'm for Wiz Khalifa, as it is quite laughable how the label tried to make Cheerleader a #1 and now failed with their endless release manipulations.

Not a fan of the Wiz song but part of me is pleased it's looking like being #1 as it will serve Omi's record company right after holding back the release for so long, They clearly thought they would be #1 easily

Serves them right for messing around with the release date. I remember the same thing happened with Duke Dumont's latest single "Won't Look Back"

I really like both songs so will be happy either way. I expect Omi to still manage it by the end of the week (mainly due to his streaming boost will prove be significantly more than See You Again if it is on streaming services).

Had 'See You Again' for #1 on the prediction game (think we can safely say that'll be coming true~ #psychic7 strikes again *.*)

 

I think they're both pretty great songs but I'm favouring 'See You Again' slightly more and I think Wiz will manage it with him already #1 on iTunes and leading on Spotify too, hopefully enough to make up the gap created by pre-orders.

Cheerleader is head and shoulders above See You Again as a song. Amazing vocals/production that I've been playing all year! See You Again is another formulaic rap/sing piece that's only popular through a film rather than by virtue of being a great song itself IMO (I like how that is the reverse of OMI btw).

 

Although it'd be cool for Wiz to get a #1 as I love some of his other work, plus it'll be the first rap #1 since It's My Birthday (if you can even really count that :lol:).

But iTunes sales have been pretty low last week if you have been following the mids, surely Wiz will clear that deficit and been #1 on spotify now, easily about 25k on stream sales alone, for the week, plus downloads his sales should be pretty big. I think based on that Omi is going to miss that #1 :D

Carly isn't out until 26/4! I don't think next week has any better than a top ~15 contender from Clean Bandit.
