Okay I just tried again extracting the zips from this end and indeed those 2 aren't working (the first 3 zips all worked fine but I didn't previously check that one). I shall try just redownloading those 2 and see if that makes it work any better. At least that's an improvement from none of them working :lol:

Semi 2 part 2 reuploaded (again) and I am FAIRLY CONFIDENT it all works this time. Though I'd appreciate if someone could go download all 4 of the packs and double check it's all good :kink: Apols for all this, gawd knows what happened to those files.

I've now listened to my semi in its entirety! More of a shift back to dance after semi 2 last month being a bit of an indie invasion, then.

 

Probably not as consistently great a semi as last month, however I feel the highlights are even higher this time round. My top 10 upon first listen so far was SO difficult to order.

Sorry if it's been said somewhere but are the semi recaps in one file (I mean one per semi)? I think you said somewhere they will be hosted on Soundcloud.

OK I have added the Semi 2 tracks to the plug.dj playlist :D

 

The question is, do people want the songs to be all of semi 1 then all of semi 2 or alternating between semi 1 and 2?

 

Or have 2 rooms, one for each semi but I don't know how to create another bot running at the same time, unless i did a semi while the bot did another semi but I'd rather dj in the main room...

Yes, the recaps are just one file per semi with all the segments of each song played back to back. Exempli gratia

Lol according to Bal some of the iTunes tags on the mp3s have apparently been destroyed :) Apols if this is the case but I'm not going to be reuploading them AGAIN because I doubt it'll actually fix anything. I don't know why my files seem destined not to survive being uploaded to the Internet. I blame Joseph.

Sorry :( it'll probably only matter to tag-enthusiasts like myself. It was very easy to retag the few that had them missing and i have now numbered them all too so i have the correct order for my playlist :magic: apart from that the packs were v cool and swaggy so don't worry about it ~

 

I have also now listened to Semi 1 (using my new super efficient grading system *.* 5 songs permanently deleted, 11 songs i found 'k' and which i will keep on my iTunes, then 18 songs i will relisten to and sort through for voting purposes). So overall a decent semi, but no HUGE moments like last time. Will try and get to semi 2 at some point over the weekend too.

SoundCloud recap files safely exported from Audacity. Now time to upload. Pray for me. If this gets instantly taken down I will cry.

Well I can't even get as far as it being removed because SoundCloud is refusing to upload anything for me now. It gets to a certain percentage then stalls and goes back to 0%. THE JOYS OF THE INTERNET.

Thank you very much to our lovely neighbours / tech support assistants in Séyetana, the semi-final recaps are now up in the first post (on Iz's account used for the TBO recaps because my computer is refusing to comply, even tried creating a new account). I will be adding all the annotations and stuff to the recaps SOON but at least the actual files are up! And don't seem to be getting taken down. Deep breaths.
