Beaverdonia don't live up to the success of 'Shimmy', with Mozez coming 28th on 35 points including 12 from (almost inevitably) Aquafina. Shame as this was actually a pretty GOOD song.

I was quite SHOCKED to see people predicting Republic of Adonia not to make it this time, but unfortunately it comes to pass that they were right to as Alessia Cara goes out here (geddit) in 28th with 37 points, securing 10s from Aprogonia and Oslol. 2 really strong entries in a row from Adonia making no impact :(

Well if nothing else i'm glad there's some shock qualifiers around, definitely never saw Amber Run or Space Above coming! Django Django to be the next shocker?? (lol, of course not)

actually shocked adonia didn't make it thru, i thought the dnq predictions were ridiculous but apparently not!

poor Jonjo :( that's the second song I voted for that DNQed.

Really bummed out I was right about Alessia, it did sound like the sort of thing that would get a fair bit of love but ultimately be some way off. Guess I dodged a bullet there (soz Math).

 

Parachute was a lovely entry too, thought that might have gotten through on a good day.

In other news, I'm possibly even more shocked to see my original choice of song DNQ - Alessia Cara's track is great. :(
