Radio 1 also played Bad Blood this morning which prb helped it a bit!

I can only assume 'Big Girls Cry' by Sia isn't hitting Top 40 because people are choosing to buy the album instead?! ... It's B list on Radio 1 so it isn't like it it's not getting AirPlay... :( such a shame as I think it's the best track on the album :(

The album seems to have really picked up in sales lately so it is still having an effect (although top 40 would be nice still).

 

The only thing that can make up for it in my mind is if California Dreamin' does actually become a big hit here. :lol:

Is the new Bullet For My Valentine OA/OS? It's already got over 100k on YouTube in less than a day, so I imagine it might pop up quite high today if it is.

Well a lack of streaming didn't stop the other singles going top 40 :P Bad Blood could easily make it this week, it has two versions top 75 (one top 40) already and it premiered less than 24 hours ago.

You can tell its a dead week, the top 10, or at least the top 5 will probably be all non movers, just got that gut feeling Ella could drop to #11 by the end of the week, missing out on a top 10. I just hope she does enough to keep her inside the top 10.

I wonder if Ella could make it up to #4 by the end of today? I really hope so. It's performing very strongly so far, I can't see it plummeting too much either!

Whilst streaming is really strong I think it's a bit of a stretch to say it won't go Top 40 'no matter how high it climbs' - So if it goes Top 10 for the rest of the week you really think it will miss out being Top 40 officially?

There are two versions, so it's actually at #16 overall.

Its also alot to do with the low download sales at the moment outside the top 3, it does take too much to get high in the itunes chart. Galantis for instance did really well last week and managed around 50k over the week Ella should be on for the same if slightly less depending how she holds up - i predict 38-40k!

Hoping 'Bad Blood' will do better than 'Style', I've seen a lot of people moaning about it being chosen as a single but IMO it was the best choice after the first two! (The remix should help it as well of course).
