With one of the most pulsating, electrifying beats Gaga has put her name to, the heavenly 'Electric Chapel' closes its doors. The song is extremely hard-hitting, exhausting and adventurous. While it isn't quite the life-defining anthem or even an album highlight it does present an interesting shift for her musically and shows how experimental the album is in places. The guitar riff is intense and the vocals are mystical. The song is about escaping and finding a peaceful place to love and so fits in with the album's lyrical content. It's brave and daring but this is about where it should have ended up imo~

'Americano' to be gone please. Not too bothered about losing 'Electric Chapel', but I'd have preferred 'Americano' and 'Born This Way' to have left before it.

I really like 'Electric Chapel' but I agree that this is about the right time for it to leave.

It won't. I just think the 'Americano' "haters" have got in there early. Fully expecting 'Highway Unicorn' to go :snif:

Absolutely gutted about 'Electric Chapel' leaving, my second favourite Gaga song EVER after 'Bad Romance', an absolute stunner.

 

Anyway, gone for 'Scheiße' again, although it appears 'Americano' is next in the firing line, which would've been my next to go after that so all good.

This Highway Unicorn dragging needs to stop.

GAH this one is super tight though. They were tied last i looked so now that that has been broken (with the song i prefer surviving :kink:) this round is CLOSED :o
