I agree, I had a really difficult time voting because a 9/10 song that I have loved for 10-15 years can hardly be ranked in the same way as a 9/10 song that I've just heard for the first time because I have so many more emotions and memories attached to the more well known song, yet I also want to reward people that have given me a great new discovery. I'm not sure that my votes even make sense in my mind but it's basically a mix of the two thought processes, they'd probably look completely different if I submitted them in a month's time.
