I'm happy Years & Years have got to #1. I suspected it despite them not being "bookies favourites" here on Buzzjack. I think they'll hold on: they were better than FH on pre-orders, now are selling more, and streaming won't let them down much because they are releasing in a lucky non-weekend "week".

I wish 'Worth It' was heading to #1 instead. :( But #2 is great.

When was the last time a girl group went to #1? Was it really back in 2013 with The Saturdays?

I'm really surprised some members thought Fifth Harmony are thinking it could take the #1 spot, this week's battle is between Years & Years and David Zowie, but DZ is hardly setting iTunes alight, I know he has a second version. Years & Years seem to have it in the bag for this week, its not my favourite track of theirs but they seem to be one new band that the public have taken to. Its a shame King was denied a further 2 weeks at least at #1 been toppled by Sam Smith with a re-hash single for Comic Relief. Communion should do very well when the album drops.

here's what Kworb (combining versions) has to say about the current situation:

01 Years & Years 1.0000

02 Lost Frequencies 0.8160

03 David Zowie 0.7931

04 Fifth Harmony 0.7916

05 Tinie Tempah 0.5847

so while 5H are #2 on iTunes, they are actually still being outsold by Lost Frequencies/David Zowie. They should still be top 3 in the mids/top 5 officially though which is great for them

I think it will be 1. Y&Y 2/3 FH / LF. 4. DZ come Friday. But maybe David Zowie will be saved by the massive pre-orders (or the song will have the second breath and start gaining again).

I was going to say DZ might get a boost on the weekend, but then I realised Friday and Saturday aren't included in this chart week. His label might not have thought that through.

Now FH are up to 3 combined, and surely will go to #2 in the next update. Years & Years are pulling away (even if for a bit) from every other major contender.

If Y&Y can keep a 20 to 10% lead until at least Wednesday, I can't see them missing out. I'll be interesting to see how they fair on streaming over the coming days.

Omi could take quite a tumble this week, with no weekend streaming and the fact he's fallen a fair bit on iTunes.

This is tense! I'm happy for either Y&Y or 5H to take #1, just not that Zowie song. After a week in Ayia Napa, I never want to hear it ever again

99. Only The Young - I Do [PRE ORDER]

:o I really didn't think they'd get top 100 on PO! I was thinking top 150 and then a quick fall out of the top 1500 until 5 days before release. It'll free fall very soon, but I'm shocked to see it as high as it is atm! SMASH IT OTY! *.*

I remember going to Kavos in Summer 2013 and hearing Look Right Through, Booyah and Animals everywhere, so it was no surprise when they blew up that Autumn! Even Dr. Who which was released the next March was getting heavily played (the instrumental not the Sneakbo version).

House Every Weekend does sound great on a night out, can't quite understand the hate it is receiving on here from some. It's not even as if Deep House is saturating the chart anymore.

Fifth Harmony aren't going down without a fight, another solid increase which has taken them over the 80% mark. David is also climbing (with the top version) for the first time since Years & Years got to #1. When we get the next Spotify update, it could be vital in how this chart week will play out! Years & Years will need to enter the chart in a similar position to Tinie Tempah to ensure they won't be significantly disadvantaged.

So Y&Y - 100%

David Zowie 80.26%

Fifth Harmony 80.20%

Unless Y&Y properly zoom up into the top 30 on Spotify within 2 days, it's going to be a very close 5 days.

 #2 Fifth Harmony - Worth It

Who'd have thought these five queens of basicness could've come out with such a banger?

Hopefully Fifth Harmony really take off on streaming. Given they're #2 and gaining on Years & Years on itunes now, this week's going to be close!

Fifth Harmony the only big new release still in dark green, nearly at 82% now! Years & Years and David seem to be stalling.

I'm sure Years & Years will manage to defeat Fifth Harmony this week. It will be interesting to see if 'Worth It' could manage to climb to 90% tonight. 'Worth It' would have been #1 on iTunes had 'Shine' been released last week, Who would have thought judging by the pre-orders :o

15. Nathan Skyes - Kiss Me Quick [oops, I guess this is missing the top 20 / 25 then]

79. Only The Young - I Do
