July 8, 201511 yr According to OCC, Ed Sheeran is heading back for #1. Please don't let this happen. I blame iTunes for knocking the price down on the album Edited July 8, 201511 yr by Hadji
July 8, 201511 yr Martin Talbot: "So we are going to communicate to the industry to keep schtum on a Friday." Good luck with that. :heehee: I was about to say :D Not surprised Ed's heading back to #1 in albums. His Wembley Stadium gigs are this weekend, same sort of effect was had on Robbie Williams' 'Escapology' album when he did Knebworth in summer 2003 if I'm not mistaken?
July 8, 201511 yr OCC have said Shine is 'close behind' Zowie. Hopefully we will get sales, so we can gage just how close.

July 8, 201511 yr Oooh really hope 'Shine' overtakes before Friday...I've not wanted a single other than a lead Olly Murs single to be number 1 this much since well...The Saturdays' "What About Us"?
July 8, 201511 yr C'mon Birdy and Petite *.* Really hope they can hold onto top 10 and 40 and I think they could with the 5 day week :cheer:
July 8, 201511 yr YAS Ed :cheer: Glad Shine is closing in on House Every Weekend which I'm still yet to hear.
July 8, 201511 yr According to OCC, Ed Sheeran is heading back for #1. Please don't let this happen. I blame iTunes for knocking the price down on the album It's on sale on Amazon and in HMV too, and his London tour dates take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. His return to #1 is inevitable.
July 8, 201511 yr Glad Shine is closing in on House Every Weekend which I'm still yet to hear. It's hard to say if that's the case. To OCC, it could still be 5k between them, in which case, considering it's a short week, isn't that close. Edited July 8, 201511 yr by Joe.
July 8, 201511 yr Sales are in and Y&Y have not closed in at all. In fact, Zowie sold 148 copies more than Y&Y yesterday, and so will definitely take the #1
July 8, 201511 yr Is there any data missing now? Apparently not. Nathan is on -200 sales though. Doing a quick update with sales now. Edited July 8, 201511 yr by Joe.
July 8, 201511 yr Apparently not. Nathan is on -200 sales though. Avicii - Waiting For Love still missing so I'm guessing a lot of streaming data is missing?
July 8, 201511 yr Wednesday Update Top 40 Only Singles 1 David Zowie - House Every Weekend (41.4k) ^ 2 Years & Years - Shine (35.7k) * 3 Fifth Harmony - Worth It (32k) ^ 4 Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me (23.3k) 5 Tinie/ Jess - Not Letting Go (16.9k) Top 100 Single Charts (OCC) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Albums 1 Ed Sheeran (11.7k) 2 Krept & Konan (10K) * 3 Lionel Richie (7.5k) 4 James Bay (4.7k) 5 Taylor Swift (3.8k) Top 100 Album Chart (OCC)
July 8, 201511 yr Avicii - Waiting For Love still missing so I'm guessing a lot of streaming data is missing? I would say so too. But, if so I don't get how Zowie is selling the same/more than Y&Y when he's clearly quite far behind them on all sales outlets Amazon/iTunes/Play etc. Unless there's some iTunes data missing somewhere too? Y&Y are a dead cert #1, no need to cross your fingers :P :( Edited July 8, 201511 yr by Joe.
July 8, 201511 yr Huge amounts of streaming data is missing - that doesn't help Years & Years' case though as they are WAY behind “House Every Weekend” on streaming services (it having been released well in advance of the digital release). Kind of a big lesson to be learnt for Polydor in terms of holding back the streaming, you've just cost yourselves a number 1!!
July 8, 201511 yr Maybe Zowie has a chance at #1 after all then! :funky: And yay for that "pretty certain" peak of #3 for 5H :D those #1 falls though :o
