WTF! Y&Y are not number 1? and 5.5K behind?! That's a lot! They will not make it in the next 2 days. SHAME! I wish it was a regular week I guess. :(

It's not 2, it's three days and if the data is indeed missing from yesterday they still have a shot.

maybe there's missing Spotify data? That would explain how Y&Y are already streaming better than Zowie/5H

THIS. Looking at it objectively there's no way Years & Years could be ahead of Fifth Harmony & David Zowie on streaming without a lot of Spotify data missing!

Y&Y are pulling away on iTunes; I'm pretty sure they'll end up at the top. If not, they could take it next week.

Glad to see Nathan so high, although it's surprising and he will be frontloaded.

No way Years & Years (or anything else released this week) is going to be #1 next week with Little Mix already in the top-30 on pre-orders.

They won't take it next week, I think Little Mix will have huge sales, and it won't be even close between 1 and 2.

But, I think Y&Y will be #2 next week, the album release and lots of promo, live lounge, cherry-picking will give them a good boost and I reckon they'll sell a healthy amount more than this week.

I would love them to take the #1, and I think they would have if the weekend was included but I can't see them making up more than 1.5k a day, meaning they'll probably be #2 with about 1000/2000 copies less than Zowie.

On the basis that G.D.F.R was 5,200 ahead of King on the Friday update but King pulled ahead of G.D.F.R. by Sunday (by 91 sales, only for both to be overtaken by Lay Me Down), I still have hope for Shine to make up the 5,500 sales it trails House Every Weekend by.

Shine outsells 'House Every Weekend' by 1.25 to 1. But we don't know anything about streaming. If they are equal then Y&Y will be able to get there. But if 'House...' is higher on streaming it could be both ways.

I can do an update in 40 mins if Martin or Liam haven't by then. I'm just on my way home.

All three of the top 10 have 1% streaming attached to their sales. There is missing date from Apple music on Monday Spotify on Sunday. And Taylor now has streaming attached now so all her 1989 hits have climbed.

woah at Birdy I know it went top 10 on iTunes, Sunday but there's a chance it could actually stay above it's previous peak position on Friday :o

Ugh at Ed Sheeran closing in on Krept & Konan. If only Y&Y released their album yesterday, they'd definitely stop Ed from returning to the top

Thanks Joe, just rotten timing :drama:

And I was worried that album sales were going to be an all time low  for the week.

With Sunday spotify data missing from the update, it could mean an even closer chart battle! Hope 5H can get to #2, but I think they'll stay #3 given how big the gap is.
When was the last time a song went to #1 without ever being #1 on iTunes?
When was the last time a song went to #1 without ever being #1 on iTunes?

I seem to recall Sak Noel - Loca People never getting there with one version and relying on the EP in the iTunes album chart (though I think it was #1 combined on the iTunes singles chart)

I expected David Zowie to possibly be number 1 in the first update but I didn't think his lead would be as big as that! :o I'd imagine he'll keep #2 with that at least and it might be fairly close, hope so anyway, it's by far my favourite of the three so STAHP with this hate :'( (not unexpectedly but still)

Oliver Heldens & Becky Hill never touched #1 on iTunes

Would be great if Krept & Konan got #1 album. It's got very good reviews across the board and Freak Of The Week has really raised their profile.

Would like David Zowie to get the #1 this week, it's been big on the underground for a while now.

I think, even if Y&Y are selling 10 -20% more than David Zowie a day, with it being such a short week, it won't be time to make it up. If Y&Y sell 9k a day, and Zowie sells 7.5/8k a day, it still means Zowie will be number 1 on Sunday Friday.
