Since 2006 they have played it 364 times, which makes it their joint-66th most played song of the past decade!

And yeah, it didn't make the Top 40 did it?

Quite a lot then! Do you have a full list of all their most played songs? Where did you get that data?

I wasn't fussed by Easy Love when I first heard it but now I love it and I really hope it gets to number one!

I noticed that they do that with a few other songs such as Criminal by Lower Than Atlantis and Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People (normally played at least once every fortnight on Greg's show). I know the later was still a much bigger hit than The Ballad of Mona Lisa but it's just a strange strategy when a few other acts struggle to get listed at all.

Anyone else noticed that Radio 1 play Panic! At The Disco - The Ballad of Mona Lisa SO regularly, despite it being several years old and it never being an actual hit?

I'd say I hear it on Radio 1 at least once a fortnight, usually played by Scott Mills. It's bizarre. I hope I'm not the only one to have noticed it.

Yeah, I hear it on Radio 1 a lot. Very bizarre that I keep hearing that considering 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' and 'Nine In the Afternoon' were much bigger!

Lana Del Rey High by the Beach

First official single from her new album.

Don't know what to make of Lana's new song. Potentially a grower? Bar a couple of the Ultraviolence singles, Lana's music as come across as quite lazy/parodies/stereotypical since Born to Die. Big shame as that was a fantastic album.

Its strange Im pretty sure last year when West coast premiered it was TOTD the next day and a year or so after and her song song premieres a song called West Coast is TOTD next day

Lana Del Slay Impact

Swim Deep Namaste

Return from the Birmingham band.

I'm back! (What do you mean, you didn't even notice I was away?)

Anyway, just been catching up on Buzzjack in general and the R1 TOTDs, and I love Lana Del Rey's new one, such a great and melodic chorus, hopefully this era will be better than her last one which was a little underwhelming really. Rita Ora/Chris Brown is also surprisingly good.

Also, missing TOTD for 6th Aug was LIONBABE - Impossible.

That swim Deep song is good
