Very droll.

I keep telling you I'm not a Tory - but you refuse to believe me!

It's probably because you behave like one, despite your protesting to the contrary.

But am I a Tory just because 'I behave like one', even though I've never voted for them in my life?

We are in election period now in which the rules are different, don't forget.

You mean Campaign period?

Feels like we've already been there for a month - 5 more weeks is going to be purgatory! :P

One of the Tory candidates on Tory Time was speaking robotically. Turns out she had an earpiece in and was being fed answers
That would be the MP for Angus who looked awfy like she’d shat herself when a question was asked about why a Tory is blaming the SNP Scottish Government for failings of a reserved law

Perhaps a website that should be favourited for use in this thread, Peter Oborne and some others have launched https://boris-johnson-lies.com/

Highlights every statement Johnson or other members of his government make that is a lie or otherwise misleading, with a brief explanation as to why and a verdict as to which it is.

For example, the entry on the Keir Starmer video doctoring.

Nothing wrong with that. Actors have scripts to follow and newsreaders have an autocue to follow too.

Just after the election was announced Mims Davies, MP for Eastleigh, announced that she was leaving parliament. She said she found it too difficult to manage her family commitments (as a single mother) and her parliamentary duties. As Eastleigh is a Lib Dem target (they held it until 2015), many people felt she was leaving before she was thrown out, but others accepted her reasons. After all, she wouldn't be the first MP to find it hard to be both a parent and an MP.

It seems, though, she wasn't being entirely truthful. A few days ago Mid Sussex Tories announced their new candidate to replace the departing Nicholas Soames - Mims Davies. Perhaps there are two Mims Davieses you might say. Perhaps there are, but the Mid Sussex Mims Davies and the Eastleigh Mims Davies are the same person.

They are pure EVIL.

Yet could well be re-elected very soon. How do you explain that then? Why would anyone vote for an evil political party Michael?

Well that’s a bit of a simple viewpoint. If you just look at history, plenty of evil people have been voted in as leaders. Just because they don’t look like Emperor Palpatine, you’ll find few people do.

Germany voted for Hitler.

People are led by false promises.

People are easily led, gullible, naive.

Pleaase ban him. Every single othrr forum already has.

Please be quiet and respect that others besides you have views too. :)

That's a typical hard-leftist response - 'I don't want to hear views opposing my own, so lets censor them, and pretend they don't exist'. :nono:
