I’ve had such a good year for concerts so far! I’ve already matched my record for most in one year (2018) and will surpass that very shortly as I have a few more coming up (Diana Ross tomorrow!). I’v

I'm so down rn in regards to concerts as there's at least four gigs now I want to go to but it's looking very unlikely that I'll be able to
Pretty sure I will be seeing Within Temptation this year *.*
how do people take time off of their schedules to go to 80 billion concerts

I’m more wondering where the money is coming from. Stereophonics will be my first gig in years.

I just have Taylor atm (and I'm hoping Camila is supporting which would be another artist I wanna see ticked off) but that being my only upcoming gig is worth it tbh <3

Most of the artists I want to see live aren't touring atm :( and I'm gutted I can't go to reading & Leeds this year, the Saturday lineup looks sfg.

Seth Lakeman (08/12/2017. Royal Albert Hall. He did a solo performance before supporting Robert Plant's concert)

Robert Plant (08/12/2017. Royal Albert Hall. He performed some songs from Lullaby And The Ceaseless Roar and Carry Fire, plus Chrissie Hynde from The Pretenders came on stage for two songs [bluebirds Over The Mountain and 2000 Miles]. The best part was when Plant performed the Led Zepellin classic Whole Lotta Love, 'twas a blast witnessing this moment. After the concert, I bought CDs of Seth Lakeman's Ballads Of The Broken Few and Robert Plant's Carry Fire)

This Is The Kit (28/01/2018. Live at my local record store. Some of the songs I heard them play included Silver John, Moonshine Freeze, Bullet Proof and my favourite Hotter Colder. After the live acoustic session, I got my copy of Moonshine Freeze on CD signed by the lead singer Kate Stables)

If people live in even a moderately big city I can see how, I have to travel most of the time but if I lived in London or something it'd be an evening out rather than an all day/ 2 day trip, easily doable once a week really even if you did work a busy job- Friday/ Saturday evenings etc (although realistically more like an average of once a month because of cost). As for the cost, obviously there are lots of variables here but- the ticket and travel is the only real cost for me (bc I don't drink at venues) so it could work out the same as or not a lot more than any standard evening out at a pub, particularly if eating out or something like that, depending on the artist. Sure, the massive ones can be £50-£60 but even moderately big bands like PVRIS were I think £20 or something, I paid more for the train there than I did for the ticket.
Got Imagine Dragons next Saturday which will be my first concert ever :o
I'm going to see Demi and Katy in June. Yas

I'm hyperventilating at the fact I am unknowingly going to see Hailee Steinfeld support Katy Perry. RIP me.

That's a concert I'd go to and be that person who leaves after the support act
