May 28, 20187 yr Just got back from a crazy day which revolved around seeing Why Don't We at Shepherd's Bush Empire this evening. Preceded by a trip to their hotel (the wrong hotel first... then a dash across London to the correct one lol x), hanging around by the stage door and getting a fist bump off my fave, Jack Avery *.* the gig was so much fun - interestingly the first time I've ever bought a resale ticket as I missed out on the original sale! It was very expensive but so so worth it. Their set was 20 songs long (including my current song of the year Trust Fund Baby :wub:), although all were quite short so it was an hour long in the end, finishing at 9:40 (quite early for a gig!). On such a high right now and I can't wait until they come back to the UK again - aiming for VIP tickets next time...! Oh my god, that is awesome! What did you do at their hotel? Lol, did you see them there? Trust Fund Baby is a bop, I'm glad you had a fun time :cheer:

July 2, 20187 yr Can't wait to go to the IOW Festival this year, such a great lineup. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Kasabian, The Script, Tom Grennan, Liam Gallagher, James Bay, Blossoms, Kodaline, Tokio Myers, The Killers, Manic Street Preachers, Hurts and Ten Tonnes! Bit late responding to this, but what the hell? :P Some great acts there. I saw Blossoms a couple years ago and was very impressed. They have continued to put out some great material so they should be well worth seeing. I've seen The Killers a couple times (both times in Paris); Brandon Flowers is a fantastic front man, so they will be brilliant. I've seen the Manics several times, dating back to the Richey Edwards days. They are always good value. I still can't understand why Hurts haven't ever achieved much success here. I've only seen them as a support act (to Scissor Sisters :lol:). I haven't seen either of the Gallaghers on their own but Oasis were always a great live act. Finally, I'd love to see Ten Tonnes (and his more famous brother). I'd probably also take in Tom Grennan unless he clashed with something else on another stage. Of the bands you haven't mentioned I'd definitely want to see Depeche Mode (I've never seen them live :( ) and I'd probably take in The Wombats as their latest material is really good. I'd also feel duty-bound to see at least some of Van Morrison's set.
