April 22, 20223 yr Rescheduling doesn't bother me too much but I'm particularly gutted because the whole reason we were going to Paris was for that concert! My partner and I decided to do that as our Christmas gift to each other instead of just spending for the sake of spending :lol: we met at a PVRIS gig two years ago, our Anniversary is in June, Paris is known to be a romantic city etc so it just felt really special to be able to do that together but I'm still glad we're going to Paris and we'll probs go again ok the rescheduled date anyway ^_^

I’ve not done one in many years, almost a whole decade in fact. :( Part of the problem is confidence but another major part is simply not having someone as interested in music as me who would pay the sort of money that’s needed to see live music. I’d love to have a friend to go to these concerts with, it’s just not something I would do on my own I don’t think.

April 23, 20223 yr finally went to 2 gigs after 2 years of cancelled gigs!!! Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker, both fantastic little gigs, in super small venues and few people (maybe 100) oh my but I'm not used to gigs anymore. At the Lucy Dacus gig, after maybe 30 minutes my back was killing me, and funnily all my friends were the same. I'm not used tostanding up anymore hahaha
April 28, 20223 yr Upcoming: 2022 (1) 63. 30/05 - Céline Dion - Courage World Tour - London O2 Arena I've had to sell the tickets I had for this. I'm sooo disappointed! :cry: Unfortunately it wasn't ideal for me to go anymore. I bought the tickets in September 2019; it was meant to be taking place in late 2020 and then early 2021, before being delayed again to May 2022. So it was a long time of looking forward to it, only for me to end up not going. :cry: Hopefully I'll get to see her another time. I have no upcoming concerts - this is very rare for me! :o
April 29, 20223 yr Literally just got back from seeing Blondie and Johnny Marr about 40 mins ago. Two iconic acts well past their sell by date but with great songs, history and importance, and still capable of delivering here and there.. I'm lucky in that I'm now largely ticking off bands or singers because I ought to, rather having a huge list of bands I must go see one day but if there's one thing I would say to people it is this - If there is someone you want to see live, just go. Don't put it off until next time. I will forever regret having a ticket to see Siouxsie and the Banshees and passing it over, and not bothering to see R.E.M. (as Bingo Hand Job when I could've got in free0. Worst of all I said I would see Motorhead and Prince 'next time' one time too many. Since Lemmy died I have vowed to go see any band I remotely care to see live the moment I have the opportunity Always assume it could be your last chance and if you can go, go.
April 29, 20223 yr How have the concerts been for you all? I'm probably the wrong person to answer but for me it's no different to before Covid. My last gig before the first lockdown was 3 days before and my first following the lifting of restrictions was the day after. There were a quite a few weird, socially distanced, seated ones during lockdown but essentially it's all back to normal bar the occasional mask-wearer

Oh Celine postponed her European concert again, for another year… so I won’t get my money for the tickets I sold (it had to be on AXS’ resale site) until April 2023. Yay… -_- I wish I’d held onto them now because maybe April 2023 would have been ok for me. Oh well 👀
