Bit late in the week to get Cilla even top 10, surely?

 

Those in charge of the 'campaign' should have told people to wait until Friday...

 

I'm sure the exact chart position is of little significance to them (let's be honest there's no chance it'll get to #1). The amount of sales/scale of publicity is what they're really chasing...

I think there is a campaign for Cilla to get to number 1 which is gaining steam...

It would give 'Fight Song' the best chance of getting #1 possibly with it pushed back.

 

 

But now she's up against Felix Jaehn & the mighty Ella Eyre! :o

'Fight Song' being pushed back was easily the best decision by her management especially the fact that she's been playlisted by BBC Radio 1, it will allow her to gain more momentum and the fact that it's top 200 provides me hope that 'Fight Song' will be a top 5 smash! :D

Fight Song should be a top 3 smash I think, it's one of the best pop songs of the year so hopefully it does well

We're long overdue a US female singer/songwriter likely one hit wonder, in the ilk of Sara Bareilles, Vanessa Carlton, Lisa Loeb, Jennifer Paige etc...Rachel Platten finally here to save us from the drought.

 

Quite impressive to score a debut smash (and be supported by Radio 1) at the age of 34 too!
