It was only inevitable once the first goal went in that Malmo would win.

Tonight's match against Club Brugge v Man United is live on BT Sport Showcase which is on Freeview Channel 59.

It sucks that BT Sport Showcase is not on Sky Digital. Right now I can only watch BT Sport on my computer because I've got a BT Hub deal which gives me BT Sport for free online. But by the time the knockout stages start my BT Sport deal would have expired and then it will be back to watching matches on streams that freeze every 2 minutes :(

I really miss live matches being shown on ITV, the commentary was a lot better there as well. It's really gonna suck even more when it comes to the final only being shown as a highlight on ITV instead of it being shown live like how it's been for the last 20 odd years.

Indeed a wonderful treble from Rooney.

Worth watching thank you BT Sport for showing this to Freeview viewers.

Who would you want in the group?

I'll cry if we get Gladbach. I want someone nice and easy and beatable  Nobody Spanish, German or Italian!

10 men for Brugge for the last 5 mins. C'mon lad's let's make it 5! (Hernandez missing that penalty was painful.)

And Hernandez has just missed a sitter.

Good performance from Man United although Club Brugge weren't that good compared to the first leg nowhere what they showed in the first leg.

He missed a sitter against Newcastle too. #NewRooney

Our second half performance was miles ahead of the first half where we were ok. Brugge just collapsed, it's been too long since we had that effect on a team so it was nice to see it back especially away from home!

Bayer Leverkusen, CSKA Moscow, Astana and BATE are all through.

Astana become the first Kazakh team to qualify for the group stages. They were formed in 2009. Great to see that is.

Congratulations to Astana for qualifying for the group stage for the first time. They will be everyone's Bournemouth in the Champions League this season.

And of course well done to Man Utd, no more Coronation Street for our players this season

Barcelona will get an English team in their group, I just hope it's not Man Utd . They seem to play Man City in the Champions League frequently in recent seasons so maybe it happen again this season.

A nightmare journey for the teams who have to play them. It will be a round-trip of 7,000+ miles for most teams.

Thank God we got PSV in our group! :D, Arsenal playing Bayern Munich again

Man Utd should be able to top Group B but Wolfsburg could be quite a tough match.

PSV is a bit of a blessing. They're a great side but we could have done so much worse! Especially as we've avoided PSG, the big Spanish clubs and Bayern. CSKA Moscow is pleasing.

We stand a decent shot at making it through the groups.

Group A: Malmo, Paris St. Germain, Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk

Group B: CSKA Moskow, Manchester United, PSV Eindhoven, Wolfsburg

Group C: Astana, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Galatasaray

Group D: Borussia Monchengladbach, Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla

Group E: Barcelona, BATE Borisov, Leverkusen, Roma

Group F: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Dinamo Zagreb, Olympiacos

Group G: Chelsea, Dynamo Kyev, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Porto

Group H: Gent, Lyon, Valencia, Zenit

Pretty safe to say Chelsea and United got lucky with their selections. Arsenal and City a little less so.

For the much trumpeted change to the seedings, this draw has a large feeling of deja vu about it tbh. Man City getting the tough draw, Chelsea getting Porto and an easy group, Arsenal probably finishing second again...
I think bar Chelsea, all the groups are fairly difficult. All the English teams should be qualifying let's be honest. Chelsea's biggest issue is the travelling - trips to Ukraine & Israel.

Chelsea's group is a piece of piss! How much have they paid for that?!

Wolfsburg will be tough, but easier if City get their way for sure.

I wish Arsenal were in Group H, mind you they should qualify, Astana is a new one on me, never seen them play, you could say the same for Borussia Monchengladbach and Maccabi Tel Aviv
Borussia Mönchengladbach came 3rd in the Bundesliga last year. They've won it in the past. They are hardly nobodies that you'd mention along with Tel Aviv and Astana :manson:

Typical Mart!n -_-

Borussia Monchengladbach would be tricky opposition for almost any team I think and they wont roll over for the other teams in Group D. I think Manchester City will qualify along with Juventus with Sevilla finishing 3rd which would give them the chance to win the Europa League for the third season in a row.

None of the English teams should really be complaining. All of them set their sights on at least the QFs so will have face much sterner opposition somewhere along the line. As the old saying goes to be the best you gotta beat the best!
