Great sales for the albums, the top 3 should all do 30k+ I would think! Great to see Jess Glynne holding up so well and Ella Eyre doing really well too.

Demi looks like she'll fall to #5 or maybe even #6 by Friday.

Must listen to the Foals album. If it's better than The Weeknd's then it must be outstanding.
As expected from the figures, The Weeknd are catching Foals at a fast enough rate to grab the #1 by Friday.

I believe the 'today' sales are covering 2 days so not so sure about that - he caught up by 2.4k in those 2 days, closing at 1.2k a day for the last 3 days he'd still be slightly behind. Could well be less than 1k in it either way, I wouldn't call it until at least tomorrow.

It's not 2 days sales actually, it is one day of physical/download sales and the weekend (Weeknds) worth of streaming data.

Noel Gallagher's physical single sales must be massive if he's able to go top 75 off the back of them. He'll not be there by the end of the week though, he's one of the artists who seems to be most disadvantaged by streaming.

About 3.5K, not exactly massive but just ahead of 5SOS on the physical sales chart (they've sold ~3.4K)

Wow the whole album chart is relatively on fire!! Could we have top 8 selling over 10k

Impressive that Sam Smith is still hanging in there.

strong sales for bieber ~ certainly the best track (where are ü now aside) he's done  ~ moderately concerned he could end up blocking sigala next week with his near 300k-a-day streams though :(

looks like calvin's got a good shot of re-peaking on friday then~ :cheer:

surprisingly decent album sales :o, considering the state of the market, great to see the weeknd & foals doing so well :)

To re-peak it'd need to go to #1, and that clearly won't be happening?

No it wouldn't, it's never reached #1? It just needs to reach #2 to re-peak

It's already peaked at #2, so the best it can hope for is to match its original peak, not a re-peak.

I really can't see anything stopping Sigala from reaching number one next week. There's been a lot of hype behind the single and unless Justin or anybody else can get around 80K sales next week I can't see them being stopped.

I love how much album sales have improved this week, now I'm curious to see if Foals can end up staying top over The Weeknd, something I doubt many of us expected to see.

Brilliant sales for Ella! :o Definitely with Aly on this one. Really thought she'd do about 8k-10k at most for the full week! So to see her on course for at least 15k... RESULT *.*

I'd predict up to 17k for Ella, a very sound result and the fact that the album is still top 10 on iTunes is quite astonishing to see. Maybe this might have a few weeks top 40, too as I was expecting a top 10-49 kind of fall. After the era has underperformed so much, her label must be quite pleased at the sales so far for the album.

no, that would constitute a new peak~

It would be astonishing if she could sell more than 13,731 (The sales for Good Times last week) but would welcome it gladly! Her first week sales for her singles are noted below

Together 29,000

Comeback 27,081

If I Go 23,291

Good Times 13,731

If she can score anywhere in the region of 15k that would eclipse Tove Lo, Marina and Charli's first week sales considerably (The artists I thought she'd have similar album success to)

Top 100 Albums

1 Foals - What Went Down (29.5k) *

2 The Weeknd - Beauty Behind The Madness (25.3k) *

3 Jess Glynne - I Cry When I Laugh (20.3k)

It's been 22 weeks since the top 3 have all been over 20k.
