Agreed. (You probs know, but my post wasn't a direct response to you btw :heehee:)

Also, I really hope Louisa gets 'You Don't Own Me' at some point. That could be a big moment for her!

The final is the 13th isn't, so there'll be 5 left next week on the 28th, then 4 on the 5th, then 3 for the final on the 13th! I wish they had some single eliminations earlier in the series but eh as long as they stop now

Lauren is like a parody of an X Factor contestent to me. She seems painfully aware of the need to come across as approachable/relatable/unthreatening/ditzy (at one stage last week she uttered the word 'ecstatic', which should have been fine, but she immediately noticed it didn't quite fit her shtick and questioned if it was even a word before laughing at herself, which was such a massive eye-roll). On top of that, she's completely void of any artistic sensibility or even a discernible passion for music. Bland doesn't cover it with her - she's simply a decent voice/a cheap Mother's Day covers album waiting to happen. As a personality, she's nice enough but I find her quite insincere and generally a lot more 'unlikeable' than the likes of Monica, who got branded unfairly with that label early on. Her winning would be absolutely awful for the show.

I don't even feel I'm being overly harsh with that! ()

I don't exactly want Lauren to win but I prefer her to everyone left bar Louisa. I just like er voice. I think she has a really great voice but I'd see her as more suited to the Voice. But I do think she's likeable and that's why she's getting votes. She has an infectious bubbly personality. I don't know why acts like that unfairly get labelled as fake on this show

As for Che vs. Lauren it's the dated songs with Che. Every single week is a dated ballad. Lauren has contemporary song choices at least, and songs that i generally prefer, so I prefer her. Lousia is the only one I'd say I would really want to win - I like her, Lauren, 4I and to a lesser extent Che but I'm fully really rootin for the latter three if that makes sense

Oh right, oops. I kept thinking there were going to be eight live shows :heehee:

Just to be clearer, I don't see her as 'fake' - I think she's a genuinely bubbly personality as you say. I just also think she's so aware of that attribute being a means to endear herself to the public and is very much trying to play that to her advantage. It'd be nice if she didn't always feel like she has to be a caricature of herself in her interviews etc, basically. I think she's way more clued-in in that regard than she lets on, and it can be irritating (to me at least), for example with the 'ecstatic' thing I mentioned. I do get why she's deemed 'likeable' in general but I wish the voting public weren't always so taken with down-to-earth/humble personalities and had more tolerance for confidence and blatant ambition, but that's a whole other story I guess!

And I agree with you on her being suited to The Voice, i.e. she's talented but ultimately uninteresting with little potential or relevance to the music market!

What I hate the most is on DS when kind of more withdrawn or smaller personalities get called unlikeable or "bitches", as if the reason they're quieter is because they're planning world domination or something  Happened with Kiera in the start and a few of them seem to have taken to Louisa in that way too.

Great song choices for Laruen/Mason and Reggie N Bollie :kink: Hope they boost "Shut Up And Dance" a lot on iTunes, loving the song still. Anton/4th Impact are very predictable choices.

I wish 4th Impact would sing something less uptempo for a change, perhaps something like Stooshe "Black Heart". They could do some nice harmonies on that song and hold back vocally rather than trying to outdo eachother vocally.

DS said 4th Impact had a last minute song change, but they're on iTunes now and Ain't No Other Man is their song. They really could have done with a ballad, and this was the perfect week to fit a ballad in!

Listening to the clips they're surely in trouble... Sounds exactly the same as their other performances. I mean they'll be fine in the flash vote and I can't see them losing a sing-off unless they were against Louisa or Che, but I think they could very well be bottom 3. I have to say Lauren's doesn't sound that great either, but if she nails it like Mariah does towards the end vocally it'll be impressive! Louisa's sounds good despite initial doubts over the song choice, yay!

Gutted I'm missing this with the flash vote - will have to stay away from Twitter and facebook which will be difficult with having to watch bloody I'm A Celeb at my friend's house :/

According to the number of tweets received for each song, these are the choices for jukebox:

Louisa - Love Yourself

Lauren - Firestone

4th Impact - I'll Be There

Reggie & Bollie - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae) :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/

Che - Hello

I'll be there should be good for 4I, but it's a bit too dated for them. A more recent ballad would have been better.
Do the judges pick from the remaining 2 songs?

I thought they would have announced two themes, perhaps the judges do just choose one of the remaining two? For some reason on the Australia version it was the top 4 stage they sang two each this year, not top 5 as it's always been. I hope that's not the case here, I like when they get two songs each so it shows the pressure has increased and they really do have to get it right.

I hope 'Love Yourself' becomes another moment for Louisa. Hope it propels the song to number 1 too! I still think she should've had 'You Don't Own Me'.

Louisa's would be ok if it wasn't blatantly obvious that she would be doing the acoustic version! I really can't see her doing the fully prod version of it.

How many songs is Louisa doing in your head?

I'm sure he meant Lauren  It'd have been good if she did the uptempo one and Che did Runnin', then those two and 4I would all be doing different to what they usually do.
