September 11, 20159 yr Didn't expect This Summer to be that low tbh :nocheer: I'm also not much of a fan of the Rihanna collab which is a shame as its two great artists :/
September 12, 20159 yr This Summer and If I Never See Your Face Again are both two of their best for me.
September 12, 20159 yr This Summer is the best thing after all the latest horrendous singles ! Also can't believe Give A Little More is THAT low, typical.
September 12, 20159 yr 'This Summer' is terrible. Really don't understand how so many people seem to think of it so highly. Nowhere near their best for me, so I'm glad to see it fall out as early as it has done. Their last album had enough single material on it for them to have gone with one of those as a new single. 'It Was Always You' should've been given a proper push. :(
September 12, 20159 yr Author 15. Maps = Avg.6.870 Highest Scores: 10: (Ezra's Whore, Bartsimpson, Gavindeejay), 9.5/9: (Acidburn, Regina, American Oxygen, Kylie Jackson, Hennymoon), 8.5/8: (Liam, LeeWallace, Jay, Chapman, 100% Spadam, Dobbo, gooddelta, Juranamo) Lowest Scores: 0/-1: (Ultraviolence1989, Chez Wombat), 3/3.5: (Mr Pmt, Jonjo, Nick F1) At #15 we have the first of the lead singles to drop "Maps", which at first started off really badly with the early set of scores and seemed to struggle to get into the top 20, but thankfully the scores got better about half way through and ended up settling to a top 15 placing. Honestly I thought that this would have done better. Released in June 2014 as the lead single from their 5th album "V" and saw the band going back to their roots and risking it by going for a less commercial sound than their last album which returned them back to relevance, this paid off as it hit top 10 in the USA and fared better in the UK by reaching #3. Elsewhere it also managed success by topping the charts in Canada and South Korea , top 5 in Lebanon, South Africa, Italy and Finland, top 10 in Germany, Israel, Slovakia, Sweden and Czech Republic. 'It Was Always You' should've been given a proper push. :( It Was Always You is such a killer song, so you do have taste :( I didn't know there was a rate, I love their whole discography or at least the songs that were before Overexposed, then they were only a couples song I really liked.
September 12, 20159 yr Well 'This Summer' is much better than 'Maps' for me. Really don't understand how the later managed to do so well as it's very average Maroon 5 by numbers really. I like Summer and It Was Always You for the fact M5 at least experimented in that they are both different to M5's sound normally. Edited September 12, 20159 yr by Rob S ~
September 12, 20159 yr I legit thought 'Maps' was just an instant grat at first, but then I heard it more on the radio etc... and I died a little inside. Such nothingness. It's not even a catchy hook, it's an irritating one
September 12, 20159 yr Maps too early :drama: This Love to win please, still none of their other tracks top that.
September 13, 20159 yr Author 14. Wake Up Call = Avg.6.95 Highest Scores: 10: (Juranamo, Hennymoon), 9: (Rob S, Liam, American Oxygen, Kellyann), 8: (Chez Wombat, Mack, T Boy, Bartsimpson, Riser) Lowest Scores: 0: (Pippa), 2: (Gavindeejay) At #14 we have "Wake Up Call" released in August 2007 as the 2nd single from their 2nd album "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", and honestly at first it took me a while to like this song, as I just couldn't get into it, but over the years it has grown on me and while I don't think it's one of their best, it's still a pretty decent and solid track. After a strong start to the era with the lead single "MMW" topping the charts and the album also topping the charts worldwide, this became another decent sized hit for them by hitting top 10 peaks in Canada and Italy, while charting top 20 in the USA, Australia, Swiss, Austria and Netherlands. In the UK it didn't match the lead single's success by peaking at #33 becoming their 7th top 40 hit, as well as top 40 peaks in Denmark, New Zealand and Ireland. It has also been remixed twice, firstly with Eve on a performance on "45th at Night" but was never officially recorded and by Mark Ronson and featuring Mary J Blige as a digital download in the same month as the regular version was released. dkQ0OJ5Byls
September 13, 20159 yr Author 13. Payphone (Ft Wiz Khalifa) = Avg.6.951 Highest Scores: 11: (Mack, 100% Spadam), 10: (Jonjo, LeeWallace, Dobbo, gooddelta, Kylie Jackson), 9.5/9: (Acidburn, T Boy, Ezra's Whore, Bartsimpson, Kellyann) Lowest Scores: 0/-1: (Liam, Nick F1, Hennymoon), 3: (Ultraviolence1989) At #13 we lose another lead single "Payphone" which was released in April 2012 and taken from their 4th album "Overexposed", leaving only one single left from that era to come. This cemented their successful comeback from the previous year's "MLJ" and continued their reign and struck while the iron was still hot. While critical reception was mixed and many stating that they changed their sound to appeal more mainstream, it still became a huge success by reaching #2 on the USA and selling over 5 million units, and did one better in the UK by becoming their first ever #1 and earning a platinum disc with over 800,000 copies in sales. Elsewhere it was also huge by topping the charts in Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Scotland and South Korea. Along with top 5 peaks in Australia, Ireland, Israel, New Zealand, Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal, Swiss, Austria and Japan. Then hitting top 10 and 20 everywhere else. KRaWnd3LJfs
September 14, 20159 yr PPFFFFTTTT  :nono: Me and Mack know where it's at ^_^ Edited September 14, 20159 yr by Adam's Stories😍
September 14, 20159 yr Definitely not up with Maroon 5's best imo. The singles from 'Overexposed' in general aren't a patch on their other material to my ears...
