Zara Larsson? Top 40? Whoever thought we'd see the day?

If anyone told me last week that Zara Larsson would be Top 40, a Kylie/Shaggy collab would also be Top 40, and Stormzy would be Top 5... I'd have laughed in their face!

I wouldn't have been surprised at Stormzy being top 3 if it weren't for the fact 'Know Me From' did nowhere near this well and that actually had some level of radio support. It's obviously just fanbase purchases and he won't hold up but would be interesting if he managed to beat the peak of 'Know Me From'.

Nero doing decently enough considering 'The Thrill' completely failed to do anything, but still quite a poor showing after the success of their last album. Still, might outpeak 'Satisfy' which is something.

Lush Life is put up as a pre-order to be released in January, so I guess the push for Zara Larsson in the UK will start some time in late November.

I never thought I'd see the day when Stormzy or even a grime freestyle track for that matter would be top 3 on iTunes! Well and truly shocking :o

Glad to see Leona break the top 200 with "I Am". Shame its video has yet to be released, if it ever does get released. Could have boosted it further.

So "Hourglass" by Disclosure is just about the best thing they've released so far (bar maybe "White Noise" before I overplayed it) - the instrumental after the chorus is just incredible.

 

Intrigued to see Stormzy of all people in the top 3, will have to go check it out. I'd imagine that as it's a two-track single, the second song will be combined with it (which can only help it's chart position).

Serious by JME might get boosted as well as it's the instrumental from that is used. The video has some cameo appearences from Krept (out of Krept & Konan) and also Crystal Palace player Wilfred Zaha.
