KDA definitely catching up quicker than expected! 1D obviously had a couple of days of good pre-orders which would probably put them ahead in the mids for a while but I can see KDA making #1 now.

the prospect of Tinie Tempah getting 7 #1 singles before One Direction do is indeed very exciting :dance: and Katy B finally having a #1 single!!

Well Tinie's already gotten 6 #1s before 1D, they're "only" on 5 right now :heehee:

 

I think even if Perfect doesn't make #1 this week, it will have good longevity as radio play increases, plus the album release in less than a month and an all-but-confirmed X Factor performance.

I fear for their second week drop if Drag Me Down was anything to go by.

I think the second week won't be any big deal in the long run for this :lol: Steal My Girl fell 3-11 too and that's one of their biggest hits. I don't think it matters really.

I don't think I was clear in my post, apologies :heehee: If 1D didn't have a pre-order (a la Drag Me Down), they'd have had a larger lead for sure I think, with the hardcore fans no doubt pre-ordering rather than buying upon release.

Ooh fabulous to see KDA reaching #1 so quickly, I had a feeling he could have caught up during the week but perhaps not as early as within 48 hours. To be honest I think 1D probably still have #1 for the week in the bag but I suppose we'll see when the mids come in.
