Who Sold More

24 October 2015

By Justin Myers

Let's get quizzical!

Most of us know a big hit when we see one, but can you guess how much they sold? Pretty tricky, we know.

But what if we pit one song against another? Can you guess which one shifted the most copies? Some might be Number 1s, some might be million-sellers, but the question is very simple: which one sold more?

Use your chart smarts or take a wild guess at which of these classic singles and albums have the highest haul!

I got 13/20

Quite sneaky of the OCC given a lot of the two songs/albums weren't separated by many sales! Also,

in regards to the Michael/Janet question, 'Billie Jean' is missing a lot of sales - it should be well over 900k.

14, got caught out with New Order and Psy really.
I got...10, double figures at least. Some of these I had NO IDEA about

Together Again outselling Billie Jean, WHAT :o edit: oh just seen Liam's spoiler lol

16! there was a lot of guessing involved, though.
I got 8 right

Seems my knowledge is lacking somewhat.

Me too! Not happy with that, some of those were tough to call...

17/20.

Yaaaas! When it comes to chart smarts, you're Number 1!

Got #1, #7, and #8 wrong.

Was pretty easy. Lol.

15/20 you really had to think about legacy sales & sales climates (no spoiler there surely?)

It's just pure sales isn't it, no streaming malarkey?

Got13/20 happy with that. It's sometimes obv when they have Price Tag vs Hey Jude together you know it's the so called underdog in Jessie.
14/20 but a lot of guesses as others have said. I did better on albums though as album sales is sort of my specialist subject.
