I don't think they should be played at Wembley, part of the magic of getting to a cup final is being able to play at Wembley Stadium and I think that gets tainted a little bit when you have the semi finals there as well. The semi finals should be at Old Trafford or Villa Park/St James Park like how it used to be in the late 90's.

The Everton v Man U semi-final is a good example of why they shouldn't be played at Wembley. Leaving aside jokes about Man U fans coming from Surrey, it would be far more sensible to play this semi at Villa Park rather than having both sets of fans traipsing down to London.
I'm still confused as to why they ever changed that particular aspect. All whilst the final was at The Millennium Stadium the Semis weren't played there also so why would it make a different when Wembley came back into the picture?

Re-coup the costs of Wembley I believe.

At least I believe that was the original reason. Now I believe I think the majority of the costs have been re-couped, hence why they're starting to play England matches across other venues now.

Makes sense I suppose, if solely from a financial perspective.

I wonder if they do end up scrapping the 2-legged semi finals of the League Cup where they'll be played (if that even happens).

I didn't think I would be able to watch the semi final today but here I am :D

Martial get in!

Didn't expect to win today. Now we can concentrate on holding a European spot even if it's the shite one.
Thoroughly deserved the win today. Better than Everton in all departments and had every decision go against us too. Great to be back in a domestic final for the first time in 6 years!

Everton ruling on the amount of chances they had in the second half but a well deserved win for United. Get in there!

Everton were abject in the first half but should have put the game to bed long before Martial got on the end of that. Lukaku had a mare but you'd hope he'd learn from it.

We'll get a European spot for sure, we would have to finish 7th or lower to completely miss out on European football and that is unlikely to happen.

Still baffled by some of our fans who would rather finish 4th than win ONE MORE match to get a trophy that we haven't won for 12 years! As far as I'm concerned The FA Cup has been the main priority ever since we entered at the third round. I'm not one of these people who like to aim for fourth, Manchester United are supposed to be about challenging for trophies which is why as soon as our Premier League title challenge ended around Christmas The Cup was the next best thing and I'm buzzing that we're in the final.

When Martial scored that last minute goal it was like a flashback to glorious treble winning season of 1999, you can't get that type of euphoria from finishing 4th as last season proved!

Leicester City vs Manchester United Community Shield match is on! :D

Crystal Palace it is then! I watched the match and I didn't see anything for Man Utd to be worried about in the final.
Pardew has a habit of messing up Cup finals as a player and coach, I'd be delighted for them to beat yous but it won't happen unfort - I do believe United have went back to the 80s tho 6th in the league and in the cup final :P

Tomorrow the final then. Do you think will win the FA Cup final?

Why have the kick-off time at 5:30? I know I said this last year but it should be at 3:00, but of course BT Sport have played a part there.

I've backed Palace to win in 90 minutes. Dunno, I just have that feeling. United will be red hot favourites. They're a much better side, but if Palace are on form they're good on their day. Interesting.

How much are you going to lose? How much did you bet on Palace to win?
