Biggest game of our season so far tonight... both buzzing and nervous. Can't be there as I've been working but will avidly watching on from home. Got to believe we can beat them, they're nothing special! Although never write off Man United.

What a fantastic game - was rooting for West Ham in the last ten minutes for the prospect of a fantastic comeback.

both teams were great and it's games like that that give me flashes of the Man Utd of old :D

West Ham were really poor I thought. Man Utd bossed them all over the pitch. That was a proper cup game, both teams being absolutely nothing like their league form!

A proper cup game indeed it was in the final cup match to be played at Upton Park.

I'm in shock. I didn't watch because I expected us to be woeful and get absolutely pasted. Can't believe we won.

A trophy we haven't f***ed up yet.

Didn't surprise me at all United won - LVG clearly wants 'an English trophy' as he said and they had nothing to lose - Randolph kept West Ham in the game tbf!
Did people only watch the second half? The first half wasn't up to much, but things improved after half-time.

Yes actually!

I do wonder if some sort of complacency kicked in. Must be strange to have a cup game against Man Utd and you're the big favourites! Didn't see one person who tipped Man Utd to win.

I'm pleased that we've made it to the semi finals at Wembley but a bit gutted on a personal level that the match will be on the 23rd April cause I wont be able to get tickets or even watch it that day :(

We can't take Everton lightly and now we must make sure that we put our name on the trophy for the 12th time which would tie Arsenal's record. FA Cup has got to be the main priority rather than trying and failing to finish 4th!

Must admit there was more expectancy around the club about last night. Good form and the last cup game at Upton Park raised hopes that we just didn't deliver on. Apart from the very start and very end of the game we were second best. Which is galling.

How times have changed :P

Very impressed with the performance, was an absolute must to win that game really. Fosu Mensah was absolutely immense (what a prospect!) Have to be favourites now although the other 3 teams having nothing to play for in the league so that could be dangerous.
They've had an extremely topsy-turvy season too mind & I'd argue Martinez is under even more pressure than LVG right now. Wouldn't surprise me if he gets sacked in the summer if they don't win the Cup.

I predict they'll keep him over the summer but sacked after a slow start next year (a la Rodgers).

Really tough to call. The last time Everton played well was in the FA Cup against Chelsea which seems to me like they'll turn up proper tomorrow. On their day they can match any team but it's just they're so inconsistent.

As for the other Semi I get the feeling Palace might just edge it.

For the other semi, I think it will be a Palace win but I expect Watford to give them a good fight for the win.

Should the semi-finals be played at Wembley or not?
