I don't see Lauren in the bottom two despite everything going against her, as she seems to be quite popular. I think it could be between any of Bupsi, Max, Alien Uncovered and, sadly, Keira in danger tomorrow. Maybe Mason too if the public really just haven't warmed to him.

Hmm the microphone wasn't turned up louder for Ben I don't think. A lot of straining going on...

Louisa vocally was phenomenal but I didn't like the song choice for her :( 4th impact were just incredible *.* those harmonies were tight as anything. Anton and Seann were also brilliant as was Lauren who has to be down as the best ever performance for the first act of the live shows of any past X Factor series for me!

Bupsi and Kiera were by far the weakest. Both performance and vocally got swallowed up by the other performances I think and didn't like the reggae with such a huge song as 'Someone Like You' but Max's vocally really good imo! Obviously like most people he just needs some character. Decent first show overall though.

That was a rather good first live show I thought not even THAT many questionable song choices! (Except for Louisa singing a song she doesn't know on a week called 'This is Me' and a song that's meant to represent her as an artist )

Having said that [/simon], she was probably the best tonight, she needs to control her voice a bit more, but it is pretty stunning. 4th Impact and Seann were great too, though they weren't quite at their best tonight.

I'd be shocked if Bupsi isn't out tomorrow, I just cannot see who would vote for her at all, she's not even entertaining like Reggie and Bollie, just karaoke and poor. Mason was pretty awful too, wouldn't be surprised if he was in danger too, he doesn't seem that popular with the public.

Good LORD at that reggae version of Someone Like You though, if there was ever a more misguided attempt at 'putting a twist on things' :drama:

Voted twice for 4th Impact, 1 for Sean, 1 for Kiera and Reggie and Bollie as was actually really impressed

Kiera and Bupsi will be bottom two, I think; but it was an underwhelming first show on the whole: I only rate Fourth Impact, Mason, Louisa (who are the only three that really stand out for me), Sean and Monica. None of the performances were terrible, but the other eight ranged from filler to simply average for me. Che and Max have great voices and it's a shame that they had awful song choices and stage settings, Anton is good but I find him really uncomforting to watch (I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way); Reggie n Bollie are fun and I think that they'll bring in some votes enough to avoid the bottom two tomorrow; Lauren and Kiera are dull; Alien (I refuse to call them Alien Uncovered, which stands for nothing) are an overrated mess; and Bupsi is all personality.

I want Alien and Reggie n Bollie in the bottom two, but I'm sold on Kiera and Bupsi -- definitely the latter -- landing there, and the iTunes positions -- even though they don't necessarily represent the votes -- seem to agree with me.

Argh I actually like 'Second Hand Heart' but Ben's live performance was a strong reminder of how much I disliked his vocals in the competition last year, and they sound worse now! :drama:

I thought it would be bottom 3 :o

I really don't care if Bupsi, Alien or Max Stone leave.

Voted 3 times for Reggie 'N' Bollie, once for Anton and once for 4th Impact. :P

Gonna catch up properly when I've slept but I've just had a quick watch of my faves.... Louisa

Kiera was hugely disappointing though for such a perfect song choice! And she can't afford to be weak, she doesn't have the hype that the likes of Che, Louisa or 4th Impact do.

A very strong opener! No one was bad I didn't think. Some were a bit forgettable/filler and suffered wrong song choices etc.. but vocally and performance wise, everyone seemed to be strong enough but not too strong so we can see improvements etc...

Mason and Kiera suffered from the songs being in the wrong keys for them, which is a shame and Kiera could be in trouble due to that, but her save me song will hopefully be better than Bupsi or Alien's. Anton was alright, but his voice irritated me a bit too much and they're focusing on Seann being "too theatrical"... ermmmm...

Louisa impressed me so, SO much. How she managed to take such a bland song and do what she did with it. Wow. 4th Impact were v good despite it being my least faves of theirs so far. Monica surprised me. That was perfect for her, but I still can't warm to her! Towards the end of that interview she came off as extremely cold and unlikeable.

But I think we're looking at a Louisa, Ché and 4th Impact final 3. Although we'll see with the latter and if the UK public get annoyed with them or not.

I see 4th Impact managed to screech and blabber their way thriugh their performance again. Together they are phenomenal but in their solos it's just all round tragic and annoying

Are the Youtube views usually indicative of the popularity of the acts?

4th Impact have over 300k for this performance, Louisa is second with 130k, and Alien is third with 110k.

4th Impact will get found out. They're very good, but signing Problem is no trouble for them - that's who they model themselves on afterall!!!

I thought it was quite an impressive show, there is some good talent this year for once. Bupsi has to be in the bottom two, I can't see any fanbase for her at all! Reggie and Bollie were my favourites.

I've noticed that 4th Power seems to always get double as much views and likes on Youtube it seems there international fanabse is quite big. I've also noitced that there fanbase seems to be targeting Alien's video's and disliking them as Alien have quite a lot of dislikes from there peformance wasn't even that bad ( I actually quite enjoyed there peformance)

4th Power seem to have a bit of international hype going for them, especially around Asia, so that'll bring in some views as well

'This Is Me' week.. and all the songs are chosen for them

I really loved Alien Uncovered - i wanted them to do well before the performance anyway but they certainly delivered. I found it very uncomfortable that they kept mentioning that they're British and they're proud they're a British band.. was it back-handed shade to 4th Impact?? Talking of though, they are INCREDIBLE, true professionals and beautiful people too away from the fact that they're superstars.

Kiera was really underwhelming. I don't know if it was song choice or what, but that song is HUGE and she was miles off doing it any sort of justice. Probably doesn't help that I'm so attached to the song in original form.

Anton, wow. Che is the new Jahmene isn't it :3 Monica was vocally very good, i liked it. And the production was fabulous too!

Think it might be between Bupsi, Keira, Reggie n Bollie tonight..

Bupsi just fell flat

Hope she's ok! :o

I haven't watched any of this years X factor since the first ep and missed the first live show so just watched the performances on youtube.

It is interesting having done that as I have no idea of any storylines bar the Mason thing because he was all over twitter.

From what I saw in the youtube videos the producers or Simon don't want Max to build up any fanbase or votes and out asap. He is cute and the typical nice male singer who could clean up votes but a reggae version of Someone like you should suppress his vote (think Paul last year having some horrific song choices and backing tracks).

Mason's song choice was obviously to play on the storyline that has been on running with him having a 2nd chance.

How on earth has Anton got to this stage? I can only assume he has a sob story of everyone he has ever known dying because he was beyond dreadful. It was actually painful watching his 2 minute youtube video.

Bupsi, is she the joke act? I don't get it, it was like a 50 year old Steph from last year, flat as a pancake.

Kiera a decent voice but fed to the wolves with that song choice and arrangement.

Monica is this years feel good come good contestant and she did a good job. I'm not sure how far she will go though.

Louisa can sing and was given a great song choice, an early fave to win? Certainly wouldn't be a bad thing for the show if a pretty white female singer won, would feel almost fresh as that hasn't happened before (though women vote more and vote more for men so they would have to work hard to make that happen).

4th power are impressive but feel like they will get old fast. Also having all 4 looking identical, dressed the same wont help identify them with people or as individuals.

Alien Uncovered (what a terrible name) are too try hard as was the song choice. Forced edgy just doesn't work and the public usually see through it. Plus most have rather annoying voices. Think they will survive a few weeks though as there is some cannon fodder to get out first.

Lauren doing Whitney, This is me, no this is X factor by numbers. Decent enough but wont be winning her the show.

Reggie and Bollie, it is what it is I guess, entertaining in a way but completely pointless in another as they aren't winning this and even if they are semi popular there will come a time when the public says 'but this is a singing competition'.

Che, I found him instantly annoying, with a rather annoying voice. He can sing but decent singing larger males tend to lose out around mid way point and I'd guess that for him.

Seann, it was so west end musical performance and delivery of the song. He has a good voice but it all very over dramatic and stage school. Though his staging was the most 'star' like and impressive looking so I'd wager they want him to last.

For 'This is me' the song choices were incredibly awful for some contestants and I cant imagine they picked them themselves.

Bottom 2 or 3 prediction for me would be Bupsi, Kiera and Anton (but I can only assume he is popular to get this far with that voice so maybe Reggie and Bollie instead).

01 Louisa Johnson: 9.5/10: A bit of an oddity to perform something she had no knowledge of beforehand for 'This Is Me' week but she sold it to us and more! I really liked the arrangement of this song as it gave her the chance to be subdued and then unleash the huge notes on us at the end. There's something about her voice that is so captivating.

02 Ché Chesterman: 9/10: I adore his performing style and how it comes across so slick and effortless. While I think I may have preferred the entirety of 'Tears Dry On My Own' instead, he really nailed what he was given.

03 Seann Miley Moore: 9/10: WHAT a voice. His style is very theatrical indeed but he is another one that is just so captivating in his delivery.

04 Monica Michael: 8.5/10: I was a bit sceptical about her coming back as she can be quite hit and miss for me. However, she was given a really inspired choice and made it rather gorgeous. The only thing that's a tad off-putting is a slight overconfidence that comes across but aside from that I was pleasantly surprised.

05 Reggie n Bollie: 8/10: Okay they're totally my guilty pleasure now. When their performance began it felt like the show had suddenly been lifted, immense energy and fun about them.

06 4th Impact: 7.5/10: I was blown away by their audition and bootcamp performances but their JH performance and this one were neither in the same league. Having said that it was still a whole lot of fun, they're so cute and likeable!

07 Max Stone: 6.5/10: THIS was my major disappointment this week! Max's voice really does it for me so I was so disappointed at this misfire of a song choice! Adele and reggae fusion is just a huge no. Having said that, I did enjoy about the last thirty seconds or so when he was really going for it.

08 Anton Stephans: 6.5/10: This took a couple of minutes to really get going for me but when it did it was actually rather beautiful. So the same as Max really, saved by the ending but I wasn't huge on the entire performance.

09 Alien Uncovered: 6/10: They're still a bit style over substance for me. I did enjoy the raps towards the end of the performance but otherwise their harmonies really aren't great and the chorus felt a little flat.

10 Lauren Murray: 5/10: I do really like her voice but this performance felt so run-of-the-mill and karaoke. Basically just a misfire, she still has the talent to impress me should she stay.

11 Mason Nosie: 4/10: His whole stroppy moment aside, I actually have enjoyed some of his previous performances but this didn't really do much for me. While the song choice itself was refreshing, I don't think he delivered it very well. I was rather bored after about a minute.

12 Kiera Weathers: 3/10: I found her overrated anyway and sadly this didn't do much to change my mind. What really should have been a moment just... wasn't. Her voice isn't all that great and I just don't find her interesting at all.

13 Bupsi: 1/10: Why is she here over Jennifer, for instance! She actually has a decent voice so isn't even that novelty. I just don't get it! Pretty bad song as well.

There is so much wrong going on up there i don't even know where to start lmao.

Errr anyway, moving on. The pretty white people to do well please :cheer:

Ben was really poor I thought :( Shame as I adore Second Hand Heart.

Keira x1

Seann x1

Reggie N Bollie- Just utterly horrifying racket of noise, wasn't even funny. 0/10

Lauren Murray- Quite fun but felt a bit like a cruise ship, she has had a lot more stronger performances than last night. 5/10

Keira Weathers- This could have been a standout moment but it wasn't :( Easily the best song choice this week but she wasn't great unfortunately :( 6.5/10

Bupsi- She's just so fun in my opinion! 7.5/10

Seann Miley Moore- Fantastic performance with stunning vocals. 8/10

4th Impact- Really fun as usual but they've done better. 8/10
