Has iTunes crashed or are Little Mix and Ellie Goulding getting no effect from their x-factor performances?

Same situation worldwide I think, maybe the effect of everything Halloween related crashing into oblivion, and iTunes struggling to keep up with the change in demand for so many singles/albums. Doesn't it always crash around Xmas day/boxing day too?

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Fleur East's 'Sax' is included, quite substantially, on the new ASDA advert so expect it to climb!

True but those boosts were usually for songs that were released on the same day as the X Factor performance, and often heading for #1, or at least top 3, anyway. On My Mind is falling now after a good stint in the top ten while Love Me Like You and Second Hand Heart have both been out for a few weeks now. Even if they had a huge iTunes boost, TV promo slots also rarely seem to have much affect on streaming charts for some reason.

Yes, and when No Doubt performed “Looking Hot” in 2012 and it shot up to No 397 (and sold 680 copies).

The X Factor performances are a waste of time tbh. When I watch the results show I just want them to cut to the chase and announce who has been eliminated, it's only on a few odd occasions that the guest peformances are worthwhile.

I enjoy them. It's one of the only times we seem to get performances that aren't just the artist stood next to a sofa on daytime TV!

Some movment on iTunes, Little Mix up only 1 to #17 and Thriller down to just 21. I'm guessing this is still way behind?

It seems, instead of working out where everything should have been after last night's boosts, iTunes is just working on the basis of how things are selling from earlier today when it was fixed, so I hope no sales from last night were lost... :unsure:
