November 4, 201510 yr I really don't understand why love me like you isn't hitting a higher position, it's at 6 on iTunes, and is being streamed well on Apple Music! It is indeed odd, I don't see how it isn't higher, either, especially since it's not picking up on streaming. Though, yesterday it did noticeably outsell the 4/5 songs ahead of it. Jess Glynne - Take Me Home position please? 56 Edited November 4, 201510 yr by Joe.
November 4, 201510 yr Big sales for Elvis. Didn't expect that at all, but the promotion for the album has been very heavy. Yes and I bet there'll be an ad/ads for it during the Joanna Lumley Elvis special tonight! Edited November 4, 201510 yr by Common Sense
November 4, 201510 yr Lol at the sales difference between the top 2 albums and the rest of the top 5. BTW I don't think the Rod album is a country music album. I think I read that the title's to do with serving in the Forces. Edited November 4, 201510 yr by Common Sense
November 4, 201510 yr Ariana *could* just about scrape the top 10, I'm not certain of this but there's a 4k gap between her and 1D at #11, and they outsold her by less than 1k yesterday.
November 4, 201510 yr I am so disappointed with Ben Haenow, i had thought it would easily make top 15 this week after a stellar X Factor performance. Now it looks not it may not even re-peak. Second Hand Heart deserves a top 20 position and a lot more. Maybe i should be thankful for the steady chart run so far
November 4, 201510 yr What about Perfect & Drag Me Down ? Perfect is 11 as Joseph mentioned two posts above. DMD is 48
November 4, 201510 yr I hope Ariana can make the top 10! I don't see it making it at any stage if it can't this week. I can see why Little Mix is struggling to get higher, it started the week at #20 and it's only starting to make small strides up on Spotify now. I hope it can eventually get a decent peak, it's a bit of a screw up for them to follow-up 'Black Magic' like this if it can't. Mind you, they're set for their highest album yet so it negates that either way really.
November 4, 201510 yr top2 aside, those album sales are shocking for November~ glad mnek is continuing to climb ^_^
November 4, 201510 yr As a Radio 2 listener I've heard quite a lot of the Rod Stewart album and can confirm it's no more country than usual. It's mostly AOR with one dodgy reggae track.
November 4, 201510 yr I really don't understand why love me like you isn't hitting a higher position, it's at 6 on iTunes, and is being streamed well on Apple Music! How do you know it's being streamed well on Apple Music? The chart on there is just the iTunes chart with tracks that are not available on Apple Music missing.
November 5, 201510 yr Elvis is not exactly just a fanbase artist... He's looking like getting one of the highest opening sales of the year so far. Plus his fans don't seem to care that it's the same old material, repackaged again...
November 5, 201510 yr Is there any hope of Rudimental/Ed Sheeran achieving a new peak this week? Currently the same as last week.
November 5, 201510 yr top2 aside, those album sales are shocking for November~ Agreed, but the problem is, there's been barely any decent album sellers and albums that do manage decent first week sales just dip under 10k after a couple of weeks. 7 albums are on track for 10k+ this week, which is one less than last week and less than the 12 that managed that this week last year (Top 5 all clearing 20k too). Things should soon pick up: we have Ellie Goulding, Little Mix, reissues from The Beatles, Hozier and Sam Smith next week; Andre Rieu, Ben Haenow, Ed Sheeran reissue, Eva Cassidy, Electric Light Orchestra, Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, One Direction the week after; then Adele, Maroon 5, reissues from Olly Murs and Take That the week after that.
