Assuming missing iTunes sales from this first update if that's not a typo...

Not a typo.

@MintRoyale

Wolf Alice howling into the wonderland of the hit parade at number 3 is impressive.

Are Wolf Alice no3??

I assume there's no streaming data?

I'm surprised he remained relevant for so long. It's obvious to see why somebody like Paolo Nutini (who emerged at the same time) has continued to do well because he his music has evolved and he seems to have a more interesting personality/more star quality.

It always surprised me that James Morrison managed a career extending beyond the huge debut and the follow up. The new music I've heard from this album could have been on his debut, times have moved on since 2006.

I agree every song he releases sounds like the last one. No versatility at all and just not that interesting.

Midweeks from the weekend are often a bit of a mess really so I'd imagine there's a fair bit of data missing.

Yeh I can't imagine a WA vinyl doing much more than 1-5k
Adele 200k streams down and slight % fall on downloads by she should still do 200k this week I'd imagine?!

I don't know how many copies there even are - their last single was only a pressing of 500 but this one has four different sleeves so perhaps there are 500 of each?

Mind you, AIUI that goes beyond format limits so only 3 of them should be counting.

As I said, I assume iTunes sales were missing (as well as streaming). It's plausible a limited vinyl release could beat all but 2 songs' non-iTunes download sales.

Ariana at #6, could fall out of the top 10 come end of the week if it keeps falling on iTunes like it is.

Great to see KDA up to #4 after its drop last week, hopefully it'll stick around in the top 10 for weeks to come.

Seeing such a big climb for Ben and little effect for LM and Ellie, makes me suspicious that iTunes has not counted sales from when it was down.

Ben did perform on the Saturday remember, so he had an extra day of inflated sales compared to LM and Ellie. Hopefully LM can climb a little come Friday.

Really hoping Ariana gets a top 10 placing this week, even if it isn't quite as amazing as Problem was.

Would be great to see MNEK/Zara in the top 10, not sure if it'll be able to hold on though. Reality top 20 at this stage isn't bad going. Should end up top 30.

Good to see Pia Mia at #30 today. Hopefully she can Touch the top 40 by the end of the week.

Wish I could say Thriller would end in the top 40 this week  it'll probably end between 50-60 though, unless streaming is going to keep it high.

Great to see Eyes Shut top 50. I'm quite growing to this one and hope it can be at least top 20 in a few weeks!

David and Jessie doing fairly well already. Hope they both get top 40 also. Sad to see My House doesn't seem to be going anywhere though :(

Sugar flopping is a sad sight but it is quite different to his major Waves and Prayer In C hits. Still, I'd've liked it to do better than this

I take it In2 is charting on streams? Looks promising for top 5 officially then :D

Not entirely sure what's happening with Cheyenne but regardless I would like to see it at least 30 places higher than it sits currently! :(

Double post AGAIN. Please delete.

Exactly how many times did you click on the 'Add Reply' button CS?

AFAIK I'm only clicking it ONCE but it keeps happening and is really annoying me now. I'll be extra careful in future if that's the reason.

Some biggish album drops for last week's Top 4.

I'm pretty sure that there are no sales missing from Little Mix's and Ellie Goulding's current amounts -- why would sales for those two acts be missing and every other act have full sales? They didn't get the boost that people were expecting -- that's all.

Another busy week in the albums chart with many new entries, and some of those second week falls aren't surprising.
