I don't think people have an issue with the general idea of 'feeling sorry for yourself' but the fact you do it every contest and often in situations which aren't appropriate (ie. you're not objectively flopping) is frustrating for posters who wish they could have success like you!

That was a goal for me. No need to show such animosity.

You should just think about how that would sound to me. You're sad about "flopping" (which is your prerogative) "but at least you beat [me]" is just a bit of a blah thing to say (it's not like we've had any banter about this, so it feels like you're coming for me at random). But if you've got satisfaction out of placing higher than me, ok, well done~

Maybe I should just take a break from this contest. It's causing a lot of tensions between me and a lot of people.

Cor Lupus have had a stormer of a debut year, one of the best I can remember. To sit there and say every contest about how badly you're doing instead of looking at things positively really grates, especially when 24 people have had their entries rejected and don't even have anything interesting happening in the contest for them tonight (the true curse of DNQing, missing out on the fun of the final). I would hate to see what happens when eventually you don't make it out of the semis Cody, although perhaps it would be a sobering experience for you. No one else in this contest complains about doing so well so readily.

 

Oh and Cody, don't take a break, just learn to approach the contest with a bit more of a laidback approach, it will do you wonders. (although there's a month's break ANYWAY so...)

My final scoreboard has D'yermak'er with 267 points btw. (That's the only difference I have and my totals add up correctly while the ones Lew posted were 1 out so ~)
