December 14, 201510 yr Author No sales info for Louisa yet? It was out at 11pm last night. It had one hour of sales, so unsurprisingly it hasn't shown up.
December 14, 201510 yr Is there a particular reason Slade aren't doing very well this year? I've wondered the exact same thing! Normally the same xmas songs are in the charts in the same sort of order within the chart and certain songs tend to be at the same level as each other (mariah and pogues, or slade and wizzard etc) but this year slade has been noticeably out of it's normal place in that order. I did think that maybe years of Yewtree stories had turned people against 70s tracks in general, but Wizzard are seemingly not affected by it. Presumably they are still available on all the usual downloading and streaming sites?
December 14, 201510 yr Ben and Fleur suffering because there is a lot of competition out there at the moment and Big Names get bought as presents this time of year... If they had got those sales most of year they would be top 10 easily for a few weeks... unfortunately they have been eaten up by Justin, 1D, Elvis, Rod, Coldplay, Enya etc..... its not only them that have suffered.... there are a lot of acts struggling

Mariah, Pogues, Wham, Buble and Kylie I have heard but not much from the Oldies.....

They are no doubt being purchased as gifts too, even if to a smaller effect and getting a boost from being on big TV slots they wouldn't get in the summer. Both are struggling big time, Fleur has Sax but I'd wager Second hand heart would have probably had some great sales and chart run had it been held back and got the Asda treatment. It actually did fairly well thrown out there OA/OS. I have no doubt Syco were hoping Fleur's album would be the must have party album for the younger generation this xmas, but that seems to have instead been filled by Little Mix. Ben I bet they had zero expectations for and will probably have a policy of spend as little as possible on him, if he does well then great if he doesn't then he'll be on his way.
December 14, 201510 yr Yep I think we will see some pricing promo's for Ben and Fleur in January & Feb to collect sales..... a few 99p days on Google Play coming up..... does anyone know if there are usually any musical guests on Text Santa? and if so anyone know who is performing this Friday?
