December 14, 201510 yr Syco must be in a bit of despair, Fleur pretty much tanking giving the push she has had, Ben clinging on for dear life, Louisa looking like she might not even get #1 this week let alone xmas week, cash cow 1D about to go on a break. They might have to start appreciating Little Mix!
December 14, 201510 yr yep being heavily discounted everywhere..... wouldn't be top 50 without it... So the problem is?
December 14, 201510 yr So the problem is? There is no problem... I wish Kylie's team would discount her a bit too!
December 14, 201510 yr While discount might matter when people are shopping for xmas presents I think most of the albums are priced pretty much the same. Plus Ellie's album is doing the same in several countries (staying in top 40 after a high debut)
December 14, 201510 yr Bit early I know and just 500 sales between them but I said Elvis would be No.2 ahead of Coldplay this week! Still being heavily TV advertised and Priscilla was on ITV's Good Morning Britain receiving a platinum disc. It'll depend how much effect XF has on the Coldplay album. December 14, 201510 yr Such consistency for The Corrs! I really expected 28-52-OUT with 20k total sales but it looks like it will go gold and will definitely go silver this week. Might continue to sell well next year too considering Radio 2 will rinse it if they release more singles from the album. I'm surprised Louisa didn't show up top 100 yet. Granted it only had an hour and a half to impact but History sold enough to go top 20 in three hours (I appreciate it would have been selling at a low level prior to the X Factor performance).
December 14, 201510 yr Do we have sales for Get Weird? Or how far many sales it is away from Jess Glynne?

Granted it only had an hour and a half to impact but History sold enough to go top 20 in three hours (I appreciate it would have been selling at a low level prior to the X Factor performance). I think 'History' went top 30 on iTunes before the X Factor on Saturday morning IIR, didn't they perform it somewhere else? Edited December 14, 201510 yr by ChristmasRobin
December 14, 201510 yr People doing their most to criticise Ben and Fleur...................................................................................
December 14, 201510 yr I think 'History' went top 30 on iTunes before the X Factor on Saturday morning IIR, didn't they perform it somewhere else? Yes! It charted after their performance of it on Alan Carr. :D
December 14, 201510 yr btw, if anyone is interested Ellie Goulding / Delirium is going cheap on GooglePlay at £2.99 already :o :magic: Look out for cheap albums :D
December 14, 201510 yr Hope Coldplay can get back up to Number 2...though I do like the new versions of the Elvis songs. If we have any sales tomorrow, they will be interesting.
December 14, 201510 yr I think 'History' went top 30 on iTunes before the X Factor on Saturday morning IIR, didn't they perform it somewhere else? Yeah History was top 40 on iTunes already after Alan Carr! Aah I see. Still you'd think a couple of thousand sales would have been possible for Louisa in an hour and a half. Quite a few Eurovision entries have charted on sales of that amount off the back of a couple of hours sales. Edited December 14, 201510 yr by gooddelta
December 14, 201510 yr Ben and fleurs albums are either slow burners or not connecting with the gbp I think lack of ballads for Fleur and less rock for Ben
December 14, 201510 yr Ben and fleurs albums are either slow burners or not connecting with the gbp I think lack of ballads for Fleur and less rock for Ben Considering where both are at now I'm not sure I can see them improving. Unless they get lucky with some huge promotion somewhere.
December 14, 201510 yr Considering where both are at now I'm not sure I can see them improving. Unless they get lucky with some huge promotion somewhere. If Fleur gets another hit from her album, it may keep Top 40 for a while.
