While discount might matter when people are shopping for xmas presents I think most of the albums are priced pretty much the same. Plus Ellie's album is doing the same in several countries (staying in top 40 after a high debut)

Bit early I know and just 500 sales between them but I said Elvis would be No.2 ahead of Coldplay this week! Still being heavily TV advertised and Priscilla was on ITV's Good Morning Britain receiving a platinum disc. It'll depend how much effect XF has on the Coldplay album.

Such consistency for The Corrs! I really expected 28-52-OUT with 20k total sales but it looks like it will go gold and will definitely go silver this week. Might continue to sell well next year too considering Radio 2 will rinse it if they release more singles from the album.

 

I'm surprised Louisa didn't show up top 100 yet. Granted it only had an hour and a half to impact but History sold enough to go top 20 in three hours (I appreciate it would have been selling at a low level prior to the X Factor performance).

I think 'History' went top 30 on iTunes before the X Factor on Saturday morning IIR, didn't they perform it somewhere else?

Hope Coldplay can get back up to Number 2...though I do like the new versions of the Elvis songs. If we have any sales tomorrow, they will be interesting.

Aah I see. Still you'd think a couple of thousand sales would have been possible for Louisa in an hour and a half. Quite a few Eurovision entries have charted on sales of that amount off the back of a couple of hours sales.

Considering where both are at now I'm not sure I can see them improving. Unless they get lucky with some huge promotion somewhere.
