Feel a bit bad for those thinking or hoping Louisa will be number 1 whether this week or next week. It is not happening.

will be interesting as the media will get involved from Friday.... the songs that have a chance will be played on TV and even on news. the Xmas number 1 always gets attention.... so we could see some surprises...... any of these choirs much good? Charity records could do well.......

She kept getting asked about Xmas number 1 but did no promo, I would have just said straight out something like "look I don't event get top 40 charting songs anymore so don't make me laugh at Xmas number 1" Its a shame because if it had been promoted it could have done rather well.... and as is it not especially an Xmas song it still could well if ever performed..... I highly doubt that! They looked shattered and relieved to take a break. But changing it to History is wise. I think we'll just get a montage type music video. I doubt they will do any more promoting. Think their X Factor performance was their final appearance as a group?

Normally XF storms to number 1 but with streaming i think it's tough.I Beiber only did 100k total sales last week i think she'll surpass that easily.

Just wait until all those Bieber fans are on school holidays next week and streaming all day long and re-purchasing his songs to get him to number 1......

Louisa wont be #1 this week or next, it isn't happening you cant ignore the fact that she is already with a huge deficit being released late in the week, then not being anywhere close to Bieber on streaming. Her download/CD sales would have to be off the scale and as we can see with Kworb they aren't and are falling already. Ben sold 40k CDs last year with a better song and 2 extra days (double as long to sell) she'll be lucky to shift 15k CDs this week.

 

It wont even be close, Bieber will beat her by a good 20k or more.

I never even remotely expected her to be #1 but it's not as if it's going to damage her career. The stuff she releases will be nothing like this, she'll come back next year with a huge pop song and be fine. I'm confident that post show she'll be easily the biggest winner since Little Mix.

She only needs to sell anything around 130k though and she would have easily been #1, so it is still very poor even with lack of streaming and less days.

If its a historical disaster it will be hard for that not to be carried into her 1st single somewhat. Im not sure about her chances to be honest she seems to be a Christina Aguilera belter with twiddly bits, not sure how big the market is for that, or how much Syco will want to invest after a bad start.
